i remember doing this Easter egg just by destroying the everything/enough things on the left side of the map (facing away from the water) i dont think you need to do it in any order i think it just triggers once enough of the map is destroyed

All you need to do is have one player score a certain amount of environmental damage. You can crush trees/billboards, or break buildings etc. Your method is super tedious and unneeded lol.

I must've been a bored kid just destroying everything as this happened to me also
you can also headbutt certain objects to make steam shoot out of the vents after the earthquake. testing my memory of what you need to dive/head slam
