      On the thicker part of your cables you will find Ohm resistors but not on the original indicator cables, do you know why? ...or am I wrong?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  10 месяцев назад +1

      That overmolded area contains a circuit that is much more sophisticated than a simple resistor. On Yamaha bikes the running light circuit for the signals is always on, so the signal lamps in the front flash brighter for signal function but come back to a dimmer running light function (brighter,dimmer,brighter,dimmer for the duration of signaling). For our lamps we needed to change that, and shut off the running light function during signaling so you have a more positive identification of signaling (on,off,on,off for duration of signaling). This requires a logic circuit upstream of the power supply for our lamps. The function is as follows: logic circuit receives signaling impulse, then shuts down running light, continues flashing for duration of signaling, and then turns running light on after signal impulse is cleared.
