I’ve looked up to this game for over 3 years, and it’s so depressing to witness this. I at least hope they’re able to continue events even if there’s no new features.
I wanna see them do a Club Penguin style leave, where they bring back items that were never meant to be released such as One Dance and such, but maybe that’s just me in some kind of denial state.

Bear* has come really far from Bear Alpha, and I’m glad that I was able to experience everything in Bear*, even if I missed an early portion of Bear Alpha. I’m excited to see what else the team has to offer, since they said Bear related yet not Bear type projects will be coming soon. Its been a nostalgic journey, even if its only been four years. Thank you to Cheedaman and all of the developers and contributors who brewed up this amazing game, and the community who helped make the experience that much more lively!

I'm sad that BEAR* is reaching an end. It's been a huge part of my experience with the Bear games, even tho I haven't catch up much lately. Although Cheed announced that future updates would be cancelled, I'm hoping we'll get a small Halloween and December event, as a way of saying thank you.
But on the brighter side, I will be curious and excited to see what Cheed's new game is. Who knows what it could be? Only time will tell.

bear was part of our childhoods, I will never forget this amazing game, I played it since 2020, I always liked both bear alpha and bear*, they are so simple games that have a story and are fun, I will never forget them, and thanks everyone who participated in this incredible community 🇧🇷

it would be an amazing send off if for both games, they brought back all old content (such as most badges, bosses like artic valley maybe even atrocity) for 2 days to celebrate bears legacy. Don't even start with the "rarity" excuse, its literally bears last update, they wont come back ever again.

No, I am using the rarity excuse. Imagine working hard for an old badge just for it to come back permanently. I feel like people asking for every badge to return are using the game’s ending as an excuse to get rare skins. It is ending, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep rare skins. We are gonna get 3 new events soon, filled with more rare skins for us to enjoy.
It’d be best if they returned every boss and badge but not the skins. The skins would be for players who actually got them in the time being.

BEAR* is my favorite game, and it always will be. I love the game, it's community, and everything about it. I'm just shocked that they're doing this. Now they say it's being discontinued, but I just still feel down. It's a great game, and still underrated. I still want to make the series on it, I really do. But I'm just.. wow. I really do love the game, every single thing about it too.
If that's how Cheed feels and what he wants to do, then alright. But BEAR* has a special place in my heart, and that won't go away.
I haven't played BEAR* or Alpha for long, but I do remember playing it for a little when it was just Alpha out. I had so many memories with this game. And I'll still play it, but I'm pretty put down by this.
The thing that depresses me is that the game was starting to seem like it was gonna have a pretty fleshed out lore, we even got sneak peaks at possible characters and storylines, and now out of nowhere its all over, it doesnt seem like all these characters will actually be used too much futher.

I remember being like 10 years old and waking up at 8:00 am just to play bear.
I remember going nuts when the Christmas update came out in bear alpha.
Its hard to just take in the fact its over, but im so glad i was there to experience it!
I don't know, all of this feels really insane. Like the thing I feared for so long has finally happened.
Im looking forward to the new game, but bear will always be a part of my life.

even tho there wont be any more updates after the new year mark, i will still remain loyal to the game and play it daily until i get bored. If cheeds new game doesnt do well he should come back to bear
men, what a long journey, i remember when the game came out for the first time, then the halloween, chiristmas,
anniversary and more, i used to react your old lives streams when the updates came out, i had a great time remembering thoose times. but when i saw the message, i got really sad, im gonna miss the lives streams, videos, skins ( i didnt get all of them), etc. but u know what....
im happy that cheedaman has found something more interesting to do, and i hope he does well in the game that he is making.

Bear alpha and bear* were my favorite horror games on roblox. I loved to go badge hunting and find these cool limited skins. The Adrenaline rush it gave me every single day was inspiring. And now that it's going away just crushes my heart like glass. Thank you so much for 3 years of endless entertainment cheedaman. May the gods give you the role as a god❤
BEAR* has been practically apart of my childhood. Ever since I was 11 to now (14). This is quite upsetting to know that a game I've cherished and had so much fun with is ending. I've played so much, from the Backrooms update to now, Grinding constantly. There has been so many good updates that bring me so much Joy, and Excitement. And moments with friends. The Quest to 500k Quidz, almost fufilled. Once it all ends, I Might yield. Although it is sad to see you go, thank you for the many years of Joy so far, BEAR* Company and Cheedaman. And thank you TMGBoomer, for being the one who caught my attention and made me want to join. Goodbye BEAR*! Lets keep going, and adventure into the New Era, shall we? {Thank you for the many years of enjoyment from then and yet to come Cheedaman!}

Bear* has been such a fun game for the past 3 years and I'm sad to see it discontinued, but hey I'm excited for the new game! And also when we reach 2024 its gonna be nostalgic to see TMG make bear alpha videos just like in 2020
But anyways, Thanks Cheed for making a great game for us even though it died out, everyone (including me) still had alot of fun!

I've left the bear community a little bit ago cause I also wanted to move on to other things like art, Bear isn't reallt that fun anymore, But I enjoyed playing it for 4 years straight, And making lots of video memories as well, I can understand why they wanna move on from the bear stuff for a while, Goodbye bear community, It was a fun ride :)

tmg i've like always been sad except while watching your lives but i haven't been sadder than this... i will always remember the people that helped me get badge skins and people i chatted with or friends i made... Fun fact my first friend on roblox was on this game... "bear*"... hope it will come back by any chance. I love this game alot and other people i remember back in 2020 us. betraying eachother while getting omen mal and having fun. The ARG. Jimbo thing. All the weekly bobs. I know we also have alpha, but i really want this game and i even put my own robux in it, but that's the least thing to be important. I also saw they didn't remove ito by a long time which probably will become a basic skin. When I was on your lives it was very fun so I hope you keep playing it. It's true the devs don't get much out from their work because it's not popular or things. I understand this because I also had a geam but it was only kept good for 3 days and after it completely got abandoned even the other devs left me and then let me carry everything hard. Hope you post more of bear* and hope this is not the end.
I knew bear since the beginning of 2020 and I played bear * on September 20th, and I can't believe what's happening, it was one of the games I played the most in my life and I stopped that often precisely because of game is slowly dying, but not that it's something completely worrying, this game was part of 3 years of my life, so I can't react in any way to this message, I feel like crying for the difference that both BEAR* and BEAR Alpha did in my life, I hope this next game has aspects of what was before, and that they have a farewell event.

Cheedaman needs to make bear alpha's deluxe update HUGE after this one. Like deluxe needs to have a lot more lore, characters, returning characters from bear*, and returning characters like ito, afrocity, atrocity, etc because they all were going to be returning in bear* but i guess not now well ito and atrocity did but afrocity didn't. Soooo yeah Cheedaman has to use all of his might in making the bear alpha deluxe update as big as he possibly can because i bet bear* fans are going wild after this very unfortunate news and as a final goodbye why not make it super, super big we need a good finale. And also why not do all of that stuff to make the deluxe update even more worth the wait after all of these delays and cooling down bear* fans aswell?
ito and afrocity are not coming back to alpha. ito is intended to be limited and afrocity was a test on youtubers if theyd leak the badge, which they did.
I have been playing since bear alphas 2019 halloween event and... while yes this is sad for some reason it isn't super sad to me maybe because I totally understand why they wanna move away from both bear alpha and bear* (Really bland gameplay mainly. especially bear alpha) and I'm excited for the next project to come!

this game made a large part of my life, since i was 9 years old the only thing a ever wanted to play was bear (alpha), but honestly, im not surprised, cheed bear updates were getting strange for me, the things im them felt wrong, well now i don't know what to play, but i'll look for cheeds new project.
as an 2019 bear alpha og, afrocity owner and lost account with christmas skins, ive never really played bear*. however i find quite sad that people who enjoy playing this alternate version of bear alpha wont actually see new updates. farewell BEAR*.

I originally started bear alpha in 2020, this game was my roblox childhood and it’s honestly sad to see the game being discontinued, but let’s be thankful that the community itself still plays bear*, considering the fact bear alpha gets around 500+ players on average per day. But hey, we don’t know what awaits us. We just have to wait and see.

Used to be really passionate about this game but was underwhelmed with the lackluster content around the time when bear* got released. I wish cheed the best of luck in his future ventures

Bear Alpha was the reason that I joined Roblox, and to see the version that I play so much being discontinued was a very sad thing for me when this was announced. I would like to pay my respects to Bear for all the years of fun that it has brought us.

I’ll miss this game tbh, I had many fun times with the game.
it hurts too since my motivation to continue playing this game after playing for almost four years (I played a few updates before the cheese factory map or smth, and got addicted to the game for a good while and then I kind of just lost interest). well regarding the news, I expected this sooner or later to be honest; it’s hard to continue working on a game constantly for almost half a decade, it burns your motivation after some time let me tell ya.
bright side about this news is that this isn’t the “end” of bear in general.
When i opened RUclips this was the first thing that popped up and my heart sank..
It’s really devastating that this is happening, but all things must come to an end, although I still am wondering, what does this mean for the party time badge reward?

That was expected. BEAR gameplay formula wasn't working from the game design point. While other gamemodes try to solve it, they're not considered regular. BEAR needs to get rid of the horror part of it and focus on being cryptic and all that jazz. Looking forward to the new game.
