(Ingredients for instant gulab jamun)
• 200 gms pre mixed gulab jamun powder
• half a glass of milk
• oil for frying
(Ingredients for making sugar syrup)
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups water
• 4-5 cardamoms
(Method of preparation)
Put the premix powder in a bowl. Add half a glass of milk to it. Mix it and leave it to rest. Now to make sugar syrup, put 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a pan. Cook it till it becomes a little sticky. Now mix the premix powder again and make small balls of it. Now heat the oil. Put the balls in the hot oil. Make sure the balls do not stick to each other. Now reduce the heat completely and cook the Gulab Jamun till it turns brown. Now strain the Gulab Jamun from the oil and put it in the sugar syrup. Leave the Gulab Jamun in the sugar syrup for at least 30 minutes. After that, serve the Gulab Jamun hot or cold as per your choice.
