During Solar and U Suengeun stage, seems like the judges are to quick in deciding and take side with sunguen. Personally, I think solar's voice that is clear and strong is more suitable for this song. Don't anyone else agree with me?

this show is not about who's the better singer, or isn't about whose skills and techniques are better, they are all great singers, it just always depends on judge's personal taste and whose emotion would the judges feel. Losing doesn't make them any less of a good/great singer. Everybody did a great job!
No it's not who's emotions touch them or all that they are just fcked up like jihye was so much more better in delivering the song's meaning and lyrucs than sungeun and i literally felt it and started to cry at the climax but she still lost well thats just fucked up

I came to this show for Mamamoo and ended up falling in love with Jihye's amazing emotional expressions and how happy/gentle Tei looks when he sings. I was like, "wahh he looks kinda old," and then it's like the show heard me and suddenly threw everything cute about his expressions while singing at my face 😂😂 This show definitely re-ignited my love for korean ballads. And I totally got the feels when Seomoon Tak and Giseong sang their duet since I'm a huge MooMoo and basically yelled when I realized Mamamoo sang that song on IS2... ahhhh this show is too good ;_; definitely have to watch more.

Okay, i am a mamamoo stan, but i'll leave it for now and say objectively that Solar should've won. First of all her emotions and performance were much better. I am not a musician at all but her voice seemed better to me as well... It was sooo much clearer and pleasing. For example, in Whee In's vs Seomoon Tak i knew Seomoon will win and i agreed with that but here i do disagree with judges really...
Random Moomoo well I'm a moomoo too but it really depends on the criteria the judges were basing it on. Technique wise and skill wise the other girl wins but Solar really gave so much more into the performance and she definitely moved me and excited me more. I would have given it to Solar too but I still respect the judges' decisions
It's sad that everyone kept thinking of After School as not great singers and they were shocked that Raina could actually sing, every idol, including those of After School, worked so so hard and trained for incredibly long in order to be successful. I'm glad she could at least prove how talented she is now.
The thing is IDK how to explain it....Historically most of the first idol groups weren't that "great" they would usually have like 2 average singers, 1 really good singer and then the rest would just be visual members or members that were good dancers. It's only recently that companies are starting to focus a LOT more on vocal capability because it's so competitive now and just being pretty/handsome isn't enough to get you a spot in a company.
I'm always thinking of that! LIke how they will be respected guests or judges or original singers of songs on such shows. My chest is raising with pride and I can't wait for that recognition for them. Well deserved

Both Tei and Solar should have won their respective matches, as they were more nuanced in their interpretations. U. Sungeun played it safe. Moreover, it was tiresome to have her coach continually make excuses for the condition of her throat.
Solar lost by 1 point, but to be honest she did better, idk what were the other judges thinking about why they chose Sungeun but the style that Solar did really fits the song.
I felt like JiHye should have won her battle I felt she convey the emotion very well. But nothing the less Sungeun is a good singer but respectfully I felt as all mentioned people really did could of have beaten her. Also I can see that the judges were yea seems young I guess.. lol idk anymore >

I don't agree with the judges scoring.

As a Mamamoo fan with Solar as my bias, objectively it was very close. I preferred Solar's, I thought it was more lively, with a more powerful voice and gestures. But you can feel the tension and effort. The other girl was just super relaxed, everything felt natural and confident, with a perfect voice to back it up. You can tell she has more than enough in the tank to turn it up if she wanted to. I can't fault the judges, it was a close decision and probably not an easy one.

I’m not a professional but I definitely think Solar should’ve won that battle. Her voice, gestures and delivery were a lot better than her opponents (no hate, she was also amazing) and she appeared calmer and was able to play with the melody and make it her own. I do stan mamamoo but this is my objective opinion as a huuuge music lover. Side note; Wheein was also incredible, it’s just that her opponent was extremely strong.
these competitions are so biased? Sure, Solar is younger but her vocal control was great! Her opponent did a great job of course, but her voice sounded hoarse and strained. Solar's belts were clean, steady and she even added so much vocal variations to keep her singing refreshing! Definitely deserved to win in my opinion!

It *seems* to me that in this shows everything is pre-stablished. Who are gonna win, and who are gonna loose. If they want someone to win, they don't care if they did worst. It feels like this, and this doesn't happen only on this show, but in almost all the other shows of this nature that I've personally watched (I'm not only talking about Korean shows) I think this is really common, specially in music programs.
