What a blessing Derek Prince has been in my life. He articulates the Word and brings it into my ears in ways that I haven't been able to find in any other person.

normally this is true and I would agree , not here , I just can't .. he is preaching a trinity sounding doctrine here and that's false , entirely . GOD is ONE , I have made 2 comments in this section which makes this ABUNDANTLY clear beyond a shadow of a single doubt . The LORD is most certainly NOT three persons ... this is ridiculous , he is ONE GOD and no other God or Saviour exists beside him . The reason the holy spirit has a personality or is personified , allowing him to teach is simply because he IS GOD , the LORD JESUS CHRIST is simply a manifestation of the spirit of GOD which indwelled him like the scriptures say , the name and express image of our FATHER , made , according to the flesh as also mentioned in romans 1:3 . The body and flesh had a beginning , had an end , but GOD is a spirit and everlasting , without form , in the beginning was the word and the word WAS GOD , and the word BECAME FLESH , for if you have "seen me , you have seen the father" "I and my father are one" "before abraham was , I AM" ... why can he say these things? because it was GOD himself , dwelling inside a body he prepared with his own works and power , and great glory. "for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily" , which is further cleared up in another passage in Colossians saying "there are diversity of operations , but it is the same GOD which worketh all in all" you see .. NO THREE PERSONS , diversity of operations , SAME GOD , because .. ONE GOD . I do not understand why a man like Derek who as you mentioned , does usually articulate things and break them down so well is saying this , I am beyond confused and can only make a guess to say , he is explaining wrong and didn't realise but understands GOD is ONE , or , GOD allowed it to be so , that we realise , even someone as well put together and full of GODS wisdom as Derek , even he makes mistakes and this is why we NEVER rely on man but ALWAYS on scriptures. Also who was Jesus praying to every day? Himself?? I doubt it.
Also who was Jesus crying out to on the cross when he said: "Father, forgive them...?" Was he talking to himself??? I seriously doubt that. No sir, God is indeed a trinity, it's everywhere in scripture.
Also, the book of Mark 1:10: 'Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending upon him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son whom I love; with you I am well pleased. "
Who is speaking from heaven while the Spirit is descending upon Jesus?? God is sending the Spirit to the Son.... all 3 persons are in different places at the same time in this verse right in front of everyone at the river. No sir, you cannot explain that without acknowledging a trinity.
God:

Father:
God is a Spirit (John 4:24). He is the Eternal One, the Creator of all things, and the Father of all humanity by creation. He is the First and the Last, and beside Him there is no God (Isaiah 44:6). There was no God formed before Him; neither shall there be after Him (Isaiah 43:10).
Son:
Jesus Christ
is the Son of God according to the flesh (Romans 1:3) and the very God Himself according to the Spirit, God with us (Matthew 1:23). Jesus is the Christ (Matthew16:16); the Creator of all things (Colossians 1:16-17); The Word was God, & the Word was made flesh (John 1:1-14); God manifested in the flesh (1Timothy 3:16); He which is, which was, and which is to come, the Almighty (Revelation 1:8); the Mighty God, everlasting Father, and Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). The Lord Jesus Himself testified of His identity as God when He said, “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:7-11) and “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30), “for if ye believe not that I AM HE, ye shall die in your sins.” (John 8:24), “Before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58). It took shedding of blood for the remission of the sins of the world (Hebrews 9:22), but God Almighty is a Spirit (John4:24) so HE prepared a perfect sacrifice (the Lamb of God) which was flesh and blood (Hebrews 10:5) and came to earth as a man in order to save us, “your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you” (Isaiah 35:4), He said, “Beside me there is no Saviour.” (Isaiah43:11) When He manifested in flesh the angels sang, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). The Son of God was the visible manifestation of the invisible Spirit of God (Colossians 1:15).
Holy Ghost:

REMEMBER only way to repent and be saved by Christ act 11:14-18, Luke 11:9-13 and Zeph 3:9/Acts 2:4 just follow only the original gospel tradition teaching not different churches but Jesus will guide you personally to the end John 10:1-6,11-16, Acts 4:12 and 1 John 2:24-25!

Discuss “universe” in terms of Genesis 1:2. It seems that the universe is not captured in the man/earth creation timeline. Please elaborate.

Part 1- Before Pentecost
• Holy Spirit is a PERSON, part of Trinity
• Through Holy Spirit, God knows everything (Omniscience) and present everywhere (Ominpresence) (Jere 23:23-24, Pslams 139:1-12)
• Holy Spirit is active since creation onwards (Pslams 33:6, Gene 1:2-3)
• Holy Spirit Inspired all men of God in the old testament (Exodus 31:2-3, Deu 34:9, Judges 7:34, 2 Samuel 23:1-2, 2 Peter 1:21)

@@allanlord1143 I don't understand how Derek could preach multiple persons and personalities , he wasn't a slouch when it came to serving GOD and understanding scripture .. how could this even be? I understand some parts of the word can confuse people , "let US make man in OUR image" or the fact that JESUS spoke on earth to GOD in heaven but Derek was filled with the spirit immensely , he claims even that the spirit is a person , a he , but , how would you receive the spirit as a "gift" if its a person? How would GOD pour OUT his spirit if it was a person? How would the holy spirit not be the father then of JESUS , who created him in marys womb if he was a person? I am only saved for one year basically , how can I understand this and not a preacher like Derek? I need to find a way to explain this now , because I know people I preach to , will ask at some point and I am getting really sick and tired of confusion in GODS word lately amongst people . The confusion specifically on this and on the doctrine of salvation , two important things for someone coming to the LORD JESUS , to know. If you have any material , let me know , GOD bless.
