Thanks for these vlogs Jase - I've been doing them out of order while we've been traveling through the area. You offered some helpful insights on the surface and what to expect which was just what I wanted.

Hey Jase my husband and I will be doing this next week. He is just freaking out over the helicopter bike situation and is worried it will damage our bikes...Just wondering how they mounted it to the helicopter and whether your bike was alright? thanks

He needn’t worry. The bikes were mounted securely and from memory weren’t touching each other or anything else. The set up is great, they are more than capable of transporting the bikes.

What tools & spares did you take with you? What did you carry and what was in your luggage transfer? I was wondering about a spare derailleur hanger .. would that be a necessity? Thanks for your comments & help. 🙂

Hi there. I carried a pump, inner tube, tubless plugs, chain link and a multitool. Pretty basic but it isnt technical at all so wasn't expecting to bash my derailleur. Luggage transfer was just normal luggage, nutrition and no real spares. No harm in putting a spare hanger in your kit though. I had a bar bag and a hip bag which i could fit waterproof jacket and nutrition in.

@@jaselikesbikes Cheers. Probably don't need to go overboard and can go light then. Thanks for the tips! 🙂

Hi Robert. We used Cycle journeys for that one, have also used shehebikes.
