To even contemplate taking over from Francis Dunnery of the It Bites never mind nailing it was some accomplishment!! Love this song in his own right ,,its fantastic!
John Mitchell was, and IS, a very talented singer/songwriter/guitarist. I'm sad that this album isn't available on Apple Music because it's very very damn good.
Great Musicians in Several Bands: Arena, Blackfield, Frost, It Bites, Kino, Lonely Robot, Marillion, Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief, The Urbane , Transatlantic & many more back to the 70's.
Early 2005 rockpalast, i sat down in the middle of the night with a bottle of ouzo and watched this concert , announced a few months before..i was so hyped ! One if the best neo prog albums ever. Too bad Chris Maitland wasn’t there. I miss John Beck aswell in nowadays prog
Yeah. Chris wrote and recorded the parts, but never played live. After leaving PT, He became almost exclusively a recording artist/teacher and local drummer, never really touring, except in rare cases (Blackfield in Israel and a musical tour).
I like this. John Mitchell is an amazing guitar player.
👍👍👍👍👍

Timeless music. So underrated as a unit and as a collection of songs.

Great Music
This performance was before the album was released, and some editions were issued with a dvd that contained the video. Unfortunately mine did not.
Incredible.
Pete Trewavas with Kino & Marillion is awesome!

Is that Bob Dalton on drums in the video?

No... it's Steve Hughes... he's presented by John Mitchell at the end of the video as well as the other members on stage...
