Thank you so much! I really wanted to create a personalised christmas gift for my friend who bought himself a new tablet. And since we both just got into needlwork about a month ago, I thought it would be a great idea to make him a pouch for it. I've never used a sewing machine before until a few weeks ago, so I didn't know if was shooting too high or not. But with the help of your video and excellent guidance, I was able to create a beautiful pouch that turned out great. Thank you!
Wonderful tutorial! I made my pouch as a "book sleeve" I used laminated cotton and attached a loop on the one side seam with a D ring and made a detachable (which will hook to this loop on the pouch) wrist strap. I used laminated cotton which I had purchased. For future projects, I will laminate my own fabric and laminate the lining on the wrong side (instead of the lamination on the right side). The outside of the pouch will be laminated and I attach sew-on fleece to the wrong side of the outer fabric and cross hatched quilted it since I cannot use the iron on lamination. Laminated cotton is not waterproof but water resistance, and I thought with two laminated fabrics it would be a litte bit more water proof.
Thank you so much!
