I just bought this today for my son at target. They are having a big sale and it ends tomorrow. I was able to buy it for $30! It said online they were out of stock but they had 3 in the store.
I am living in Europe but i still don't have one, for some reason Mattel is very selective which country gets an item. Hopefully it will show up at some point, The Brachiosaurus also took a while before we eventually got it. I really like this figure, but i wish the neck and tail had better articulation.
I'm late to the party as always!! Great figure that I've only recently discovered. If you scale this against a real typical Apatosaurus size (ca. 21-22m) it comes out at about 1:20. I'm trying to make a 15-20cm whip tail extension for mine using aluminium bonsai wire wrapped with string and covered with Milliput. If that works out it should greatly improve the tail proportions and bring the model to that magic 1:18 scale, which means it will then look great displayed with BOTM figures.
Looking back at this review since, IMO, the Apatosaurus is due for a Hammond Collection overhaul. Don’t get me wrong, this Legacy Apatosaurus is wonderful and I have one in my collection. But there’s one aspect about it that drives me crazy, especially in comparison to Mattel’s later sauropods: The tail. It’s just so small and unimposing compared to say what came with the Mamenchi or the new Diplodocus.
Kinda wish they made the neck rubber, and maybe make the tail a little thicker (if not longer that is, that way I would’ve been a little more ok with the oversized limbs and feets). Probably would’ve made it a little more expensive tho especially since this thing I’m pretty sure surpasses the T. rex in length. Also 9:20 a fly said hi. :3 Also funny end with John Hammond there XD
The reference at the end is from Baby:Secret of the Lost Legend right?Great review, you did a good job putting Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus together in frame!
@@DinoScreamReviews I recently found mine at Walmart and it was the last one on the shelf I was going to go for a velociraptor until I saw the baby brachiosaurus. And I got it now it's with his mama.goes with my legacy collection brachiosaurus.
Man I really love this one!! Didn’t even know they made it!!
I need a Hammond version 😢😢😢

When does the target exclusive ends? We don't have targets in Europe

Thanks to that sale, I now have four 😬
Might have to return the first one I bought at list price
Nice!! I’m probably not going to find any before the sale ends. They still haven’t been put out on the shelves here yet.
Nice toy👍🏻
Littlefoot In the flesh.
Me too 😄😄😄
The giant!!!
You say you wont get the raptor squad 4 pack but I know there will be a review on it on this channel lol
I got mine e back in April I paid scalper prices
Very nice and I couldn't afford to get this because one Sauropod is enough for me and I'm out spaces in my bedroom.
On sale on target right now half off 27.49 I highly recommend you getting it
@@jurassictreereviews No I've already had the Brachiosaurus and I meant that I don't want to spend money on another JW toy.
16:50, there's that classic Greg touch
I should trademark it lol

Yep that’s the reference!! And thanks. One of the harder reviews I’ve done. Glad it’s over lol
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😉
are you going to review baby brachy?
I’ve been searching high and low for it. Soon as I get one I’ll review it.

@@elijahbranford2618 actually got the baby brachiosaurus yesterday. A fellow Instagram collector found one for me. Never seen one on shelves near me.

I liked yr Transformers Masterpiece Beast Wars Dinosaurs collection 🙂🦕🦖
Thank you!!
Good God Almighty, its gargantuan!!!
Personally i think the Apatosaurus is too large
I've seen the size comparison not that big actually. It's just from long ways this long it's a lot shorter than the brachiosaurus.
