If anyone get 5535(8 questions) after interview and get refuse for temporary until security clearance decision come, can an applicant travel to other countries? Will it be a problem later ?
My case type is SIV (Special Immigration Visa). so my case is refused for about 57 days and 6 days before I received a call from CARE Team which said that please send me the scanned copies of passports, National ID, Marriage Certificate, and important than all fill out the DS-5535 form online so still I didn’t receive any response from CARE team. My question is here that how long does it take ? And important than all I am from of Afghanistan and I think CARE team can only help or evacuate those who are in Afghanistan / Pakistan….! I am in United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪, so I do NOT know who why they call me… Will they help me or Not….? How long does this process take ?

I would to hire an attorney to follow up with my fiance case. I appreciate a contact. thanks
Hi, 4 years is a long time to wait. You should consult with an Attorney as soon as possible. Also, they do not ask for your passwords. If someone requested that, it was probably fraudulent.
it is 2 years and 9 months and the document was from State Department and it was ds-5535 and they asked for all social media username and password, just for her. thanks
@@lakebreeze1859 That is the correct form but it doesn't ask for any passwords. If your case is not subject to the Travel Ban, then you should consult with an attorney about filing a Mandamus Action against the government. My office does not that type of case though.

I have given the interview and she said me vo congratulations your visa approved then I got a text that’s my passport ready to pick up then I got my passport with the white slip under section 221(g) and they have e mail DS 5535 form and I fill up the that form and send the email. I’m very confuse what should I do and I’m feeling very sad about it please help me and how much time it’ll take to solve and it’ll be approved or denied? . It’s a student F1
I experienced the same issue with my F1 visa status. The VO said my F1 visa is approved and I will be able to pickup my passport after 5 days but the next day I received an email asking for DS5535 form to fill up. After I sent the email, I received an email asking me to pickup my passport. When I went to pickup my passport, I found that my passport was not stamped with the F1 visa. I checked my visa status and it was showing refused. I emailed them and asked them regarding the status and they told me that my case is under AP and it will be resolved within 180days. This was my third time applying for interview. The last 2 times I was rejected under 214b (back in trump era). However, my last interview was very smooth and quickly done. I had my interview on June 8th, 21 and my program starts on August 23rd. I have little hope to receive my visa before my class starts... :(
I did my interview on the 16the May and after the interview the councilor kept my passport and gave 221g and kept my passport. The following day I already an email from the embassy to fill Ds5355 form to fill and submit. I submitted that very but my status was last updated on the day I had my interview and still refused. Any idea guys

Hi Khalil, There is no set amount of time before they will respond and issue the visa. It could be a few weeks or more than 1 year. Just keep an eye out for the Embassy email or phone call. Try following up after 3 and 6 months too and later on, contact a Congressperson for help. Eventually, if the case takes a long time, you can potentially file a lawsuit called a Writ of Mandamus. Consult with an immigration attorney if it comes to that.

Fill and sign the attached DS 5535 form and send to Advanceprocessing@state.gov What does it mean ? Is there any hope for visa still is there or not?
Is it ok if the applicant who's from Yemen filled out this form before going to the interview just in case if they ask for it

I sent the the DS5535 on nov 10. On Dec 9 and 24 said refused. I petitioned my minor step daughter's. What happens next?

Because you are still in Afghanistan it is pending when go to third country they will process it.
