To commemorate the reissues of Sex Gang Children's classic catalogue and previously unreleased tracks on the Cleopatra Label, Liberation London has created this official video for Sebastiane. This song was originally found on Sex Gang Children's seminal album, 'Song And Legend.' (1983)

It was 1983.....Most post punk was really well recorded. Have you listened to Joy Division " Closer " or Atmosphere " (1980.)..or Banshees JuJu / kiss in the dream house or any of the first bunnymen albums....or New Order...Magazine.....Killing Joke.....Teardrop Explodes............an on and on.

Just remember we all contain multitudes, and everything-music included- is always evolving. Even though it may seem strange and uncomfortable- and even if you don't like it- it is truly wonderful and fascinating to see a new generation's take on things while they're including a piece of the take from your generation, or even the one before. Perhaps the very same sound will make it through to the next iteration, and be loved anew by another group of humans

Sex gang children leans more to death rock, which is goth too, i'd recommend Christian Death's Only teathre of pain ^^

@@OfficialSexGang Thank you for the confirmation. I'll have to dig out my VHS copy. If I can, I'll try to make it to the Lexington gig in August, albeit that it depends on flights et cetera. I've already booked to see Bauhaus on the 8th!
