Just wanted to say how informative your video is. All bases covered and clear as a bell. This video & one from Rist innoivations are a must for beginners. Nearly 2 years in on my woodwork journey & your video wised me up further on certain areas. Thank you for an excellent video

Thanks for the comment! I’m glad to hear that even though you are two years into it that there was still information to learn! Best of luck on your woodworking journeys!!

You just proved something I've been saying for years: it takes 4 seconds to install the blade guard yet most people never use them, even on wide cuts. It's there for your safety.

That’s very true! It’s not hard to reinstall the blade guard! I think anyone beginning on the table saw or for general purpose cutting that isn’t thin, precise or with a jig, a blade guard is a great thing to have!

Honestly, the best part about the blade guard is the somewhat improved dust collection. I attach that thing whenever possible.

Thank you very much Connor! I feel safer after watching this very in depth tutorial. I had alot of anxiety starting it up but I feel much more secure.

For sure, once you know the ins and outs of the table saw it becomes less daunting. I wish you the best of luck. Thanks for the comment!

Very informative. However every time you reached for the off it with your left hand I held my breath. That looks dangerous to me.

If you’re reaching for an off cut behind the blade that’s completely past the riving knife and out of the way it’s really not dangerous at all. In fact leaving off cuts piling up by the blade would be more dangerous.
