I also didn't know the really old ones were wound with a key and that was what was at the other end of the watch chain. And don't get me started on that fob. Lucky me it's got my birthstone in the middle of it and I had no idea they came that big. Thanks Grandpa RIP.

Take the case back off and air out the movement in a non humid place, now make sure to oil the O ring or seal ring if it has one, these steps should keep the moisture out so you don't have to worry about the humidity.
