- על גלגלים מגישים לכם נסיעה דרומה במדבר בת כ- 120 ק"מ על כביש 40 וכביש 90 (כביש הערבה). הנסיעה מתחילה במצפה רמון אשר משם ירדנו, דרך מעלה העצמאות, אל מכתש רמון. ממכתש רמון המשכנו דרומה על כביש 40 ועברנו במקומות הבאים:
מכתש רמון - 1:23
המנסרה - 7:06
קיר האמוניטים - 12:35
מעלה פארן - 46:00
צומת ציחור בו נפגש כביש 40 עם כביש 13 המקשר אל כביש הערבה - 56:00
צומת שיטים המחבר אותנו לכביש הגישה לישוב שיטים שבחבל אילות - 1:06:44
צומת שיזפון המחבר אותנו לכביש 12 המוביל אל אילת דרך הרי אילת - 1:19:48
צומת סמדר המחבר אותנו לכביש הגישה לקיבוץ סמדר - 1:21:31
נאות סמדר - 1:21:31
צומת נווה חריף המחבר אותנו לכביש הגישה אל נווה חריף - 1:22:00
גישה אל הר עיט - 1:25:10
צומת קטורה בו מתחיל כביש 40 במפגש עם כביש 90 (כביש הערבה) - 1:30:46
כביש הערבה אשר ממנו ניתן לראות את הרי אדום שבירדן - 1:31:26

I am watching with attention and can see that in some areas of this desert the earth has a golden color. Probably the way the sun's rays fall. Its beautiful.
In this area there are sands of different colors because the area is rich in minerals. Once, hundreds of millions of years ago, this place was a sea, it was Tethys Ocean
