Thank you for your kindness & generosity.
I love the view of the front of the ship when youre driving on at 24:21. Going on Armorique in 2 days and look forward to it every year.
We're going on the Amorique again in about 2 weeks time 😊
Thank you for this video, Mike. I'll be doing this trip for the first time in mid-Sept and this let me know what to expect.
Actually never driven abroad before so this is quite the adventure for me. On the return leg i've decided to go to Roscoff- Cork then take the Belfast-Liverpool ferry.
I must admit my wife does most of the driving when we are in France 😀
On the few occasions that I drive I find it fairly straightforward although some junctions & roundabouts can be a bit scary at first. The traffic in Roscoff & Brittany is very light compared to the UK & the roads are very good. If you're using a SatNav be aware that using the French postcodes alone will not get you anywhere near where you want to be. You will have to put some of the address in too. For some strange reason our Sat Nav does not recognize our holiday home address if it is French but works if I type in the Breton name. I usually put any addresses in before we set off because it has caught us out a few times with other places. The other thing that can be a bit disorienting is that the road numbers can suddenly change when you drive through one department to another. For example the D83 becomes the D121. This can be very confusing as you suddenly think you are on the wrong road.
Hope this helps & that you have a very pleasant journey 😀
thanks for that. looks like you were first off.
Yes we were first off. I think that was only the second time we were 1st in our many years of travelling to Brittany. We were also last off once too, I think that was also at Plymouth ☺

A very interesting and informative video. I have traveled a number of times on ferries like this and seen many similar videos, but I have never seen a lift from the car deck to the upper decks to help those with disabilities or mobility problems. Are any of the ferries equipped to help those with mobility problems?
Hi Frank, I have seen lifts on the car decks. If you let Brittany Ferries know you have a mobility problem they will ask you to switch your car hazard lights on. They will then know to make sure you can park as close to a lift as possible.
@@MikeFairman Thank you for that information, very good to know.
I was onboard 8th of April
Surprisingly there was hardly anyone on the ship which is a bit worrying. They only managed to fill one car deck which was barely half full. When we came back on the Armorique on Saturday afternoon the ship was quiet again.
@@MikeFairman oh wow i was on PA she was the same but Armorique on the friday night was a bit busy deck 5 was being used
Great to see your video’s back .
Thank you Billy
Billy Graham is dead. But nice to see his name. 😀
@@JohnSmith-uy7sv This One Isn't .
I would have to go to the bathroom waiting all that time. And have a very sore bum. Too much sitting. 🙄
There are toilets at the port. I usually have a bit of a walk if we are waiting too long ☺
