Love this direction for Chlöe!! I hadn’t counted her out by any means. We all know what she’s capable of and the quality of work she can churn out. I have been behind each release of hers as a solo act and I’ve enjoyed them all, even if some people have dismissed her as generic and predictable. That said, there has seemed to be a sense of hesitancy or at most, this feeling that she was still squaring up with her formula and her brand. This track shows that she is thinking about it and she’s adapting. All she needs is time and the space to make the moves that she feels will mold her into her own artist. I love how this still has the bite of previous releases, but there’s a euphoria to it too. There are layers. A vulnerable but empowered energy. I think it’s great and it takes Chlöe out of the “trying too hard to be the bad girl” box people have shoved her in. I am here for the ride, all the way! Love this direction for Chlöe!! I hadn’t counted her out by any means. We all know what she’s capable of and the quality of work she can churn out.
I have been behind each release of hers as a solo act and I’ve enjoyed them all, even if some people have dismissed her as generic and predictable. That said, there has seemed to be a sense of hesitancy or at most, this feeling that she was still squaring up with her formula and her brand.
This track shows that she is thinking about it and she’s adapting. All she needs is time and the space to make the moves that she feels will mold her into her own artist. I love how this still has the bite of previous releases, but there’s a euphoria to it too. There are layers. A vulnerable but empowered energy.
I think it’s great and it takes Chlöe out of the “trying too hard to be the bad girl” box people have shoved her in. I am here for the ride, all the way! This is fresh and different - I hope she keeps following the breadcrumbs that have led her to this small evolution. 🙏🏼💡 in my opinion, she’s very much on the right track!!
