By about 800, it will have lost about half it's structural integrity. In the circumstances, the jet fuel burned about 1000°C, resulting in the beams losing more than half their integrity. Combine this with the weight of the building, and with the remains of the airliner, I see that it would be totally plausable that it collapsed due to jet fuel softening the beams...
