Matchbox Monday with 2024 Matchbox 5-packs - MBX Japan Cruisers, Coffee Cruisers V, Blue Highways II

It's Matchbox Monday and we're unboxing FIVE new 2024 Matchbox 5-packs. Matchbox continues to release great looking cars, and these 5-packs are no different. There are some new colorways in these 5-packs, but there are also quite a few carryover cars from previous releases...which is good for collectors who missed them the first time, but can be frustrating for seasoned collectors looking for totally fresh product.

The way I open 5-packs to preserve them is to slice the perforated line between the hang tab and the top side of the box. That flat flips right open and lets you slide the tray out and closes up just fine while still letting you hang it back on a hook without the tray having any risk of falling out (which it would if you opened any other side).

My favourite car in all of these packs, were the Dodge Challenger and the Jeep Gladiator.

Great unboxing of those beautiful five packs! My favorite is the MBX Japan Cruisers with the '07 Subaru Inmpereza WRX STI Japanese police car!

The '33 Plymouth would look so much better without the goofy exaggerated white bumpers.

They definitely made those bumpers stick out farther than they should have…and I’m not sure why because they did great on all the other cars from the same era.
