Thanks for the great article. I read somewhere that you'll need to bleed the other colors to make registration easier when printing on black. Your colored inks must be transparent enough so that if it hits the black shirt, not be visible. Do you need to lower the frequency slightly of the halftone for the color, so the dot would be bigger than the halftone dot in the base white? I like how you converted it to halftones, making the design much lighter, more comfortable to wear instead of feeling like you're wearing Kevlar on your chest.

You add white bg in every layer on CMYK including white underbase so how can we remove print it?
Also Ctrl+j is a useful shortcut for copying a layer.

Why Keep it in RGB color and not CMYK???? For the separation.
Shouldn't you choke back the underbase by 2 pixels maybe?
Hi, Can you please tell me why to keep different angles for different colors like For White 45 degrees, Cyan 15 degrees, Magenta 75 degrees, yellow 0 degrees and black 45 degrees. Why we can't use only one angle like 45 degrees for all?

The final result is giving me CMYK layers with a white background. I need it to be on transparent. Yes, the white background doesn't show when you're printing on transparent paper. But what I have is colors like Magenta and Yellow that are a transparent bitmap on a white background. This prints out as blank, or nothing. This method is only working for me for the White base, Black, and Cyan. But not for Yellow and Magenta.
I need to convert the bitmap to black so I can print the Magenta and yellow layers, but I can't do that because it comes with a white background even though the graphic I import is transparent.
Any advice? Loved the video, but doesn't give me a result from digital to print

What if I use a rip software for halftones. How will I fix the underbase? Still have to convert halftones in photoshop? Or can I just delete the black without converting to halftones
No need to convert the base into halftone

why is my black not 100% black. there is a little magenta and cyan
black in cmyk is not 100% K it’s a mix that appears as black

completely lost me when you started explaining the other way to do the white. Then you started moving so dang fast it completely confused me what you were doing. I left off at doing the separations and cant even figure anything out anymore because you are clicking way to much I cant even tell what you are doing.
He cut out the black from the under base to reduce it ink density. the black portion does not need a under base
