Karam festival is related to adivasis, there is no tea tribe in Jharkhand, Odisha, Chattisgarh, West Bengal, etc but there people celebrate Karma or Karam.
Please make a correction. The tree that worship by bathou religious Bodo community is #sijwo not cactus and there is a difference between cactus and sijwo.

Tea Tribe has adopted the festival from Adivasis.

Thanks for your concern. But, I would like to say that I am neither the creator nor the inventor of it. We learn from Books. An authentic book provides what we absorb it. So, whatever I taught is completely for educational purposes only.
Tea tribes were brought to assam from mainland india by the British to make them work in tea garden as per assam history in Assam yearbook and Wikipedia. So how come you are aborigine here?

It's a political issue where some people claim that Addvasi people r brought to Assam just for Tea plantation.But it is not mentioned that before the British there were already existing some addvasi tribes such as((Khria,Orown,Munda,Santhali,n so on.Since Approximately,30percent/r carried by the British..So they represent themselves as Tea Tribe, but logically if u speak it's a question mark.No human being is born or designed by Tree or Artificial object.U need to contemplate on this..

You can proclaim yourself to be whatever you want but history says otherwise and nowhere it's mentioned that tea tribes were the original people of Assam, and before the arrival of British, assam wasn't a part of India, British annexed assam to their ever growing British India empire. I used the so-called word wikipedia? You can just go to wikipedia and read up on what you're talking about yourself or do you want me to copy paste here what wikipedia says? And what sources do you recommend researcching? Well I didn't hear about any so called addvasi fighting islamic invaders, it was only ahoms who did that, two powerful Tribes were ahom and koches (chilarai, naranarayan) do you know that Assam was free from islamic rule when the whole of India was under islamic rule? Because Assam was not a part of India back then.
