- Welcome to my general knowledge quiz.
It's a fast paced quiz with 30 questions and 10-12 seconds to read the question and pick your answer.
Multiple choice with a good mix of questions most of which are quite difficult.
I create different styles of quizzes with this one being the most difficult, it allows me to learn new things when researching the questions which I find very enjoyable.
The quiz might be a bit quick for some, if so, when you start the video there is a settings button at the bottom right, if you click that you can change the playback speed to a more suitable one.

With today's general knowledge quiz questions, I scored 28/30. I missed #16, and 26. Several lucky guesses there.
I knew #21 thanks to Bret Hart's wrestling career! And I sang along with Peewee Herman (RIP) for the answer to #19.

On this week's Challenging GK quiz I got 23 correct. The Birkenhead Drill is also called a Muster Drill(at least on cruise ships that is what it is called)
That's not quite the same thing. A modern muster drill is just a basic technical evacuation procedure and does not morally demand 'women and children first' in and of itself. The Birkenhead Drill is more a state of mind; it refers specifically to the Victorian/Edwardian moral ideal of 'noble sacrifice' by letting the women and children go first.
@@WeaselKing1000I didn't realize that is the genesis of that. The first cruise I went on had an old school muster drill where they put the women and children in the front and men in the back. The recent post COVID muster drills are just the very basic necessities.
27/30 - missed the Shanghai Masters, the epeiric sea, and (horrors) the X and Y chromosome one - yikes, what a howling error there!
