Your story reminded me of my childhood. I had a similar experience when I was 6-7 years old. The exact same cartoonic tip-toeing of a shadow, I remember it very clear. Although when I told my parents about it, they said it was just my imagination. To this day I wonder what it was. Glad to know someone has a similar experience.

Zeph, I think what you and your brother experienced was a demonic attack. If you, or him, ever get attacked, again, try reciting the Saint Michael the Archangel prayer. It's a minor exorcism against demons that is very powerfull.
Plus, praying 1 Our-Father, 1 Hail-Mary and 1 Glory be, every night, before going to sleep, also does "the trick". You become more protected by GOD and The Virgin Mary.

This story art style was amazing! An out of the box story which developed perfectly. And Shadows! They always got their own stories! 👻 reminds me of that shadow creature in courage the cowardly dog show
I remember something like this happened to me, when I was nine or eight I was sleeping with my mom and my little sister on the floor we had just moved into our new house I usually get up at 11am, at least at that time, but this time I woke up at 9am and I felt like I was being watched. To give you an idea of our home We used to sleep in the hall room that adjoins all the main rooms from the kitchen to the bathroom. Our bathroom contains a small shadowy window, meaning that it is very difficult to see through it. When I felt that I was being watched, I looked at the bathroom window, and here I saw him, a black body inside the bathroom waving at me with his hand. I froze in my place and the hair rose at the bottom of my head, then that thing disappeared. I woke my mom up and told her but she said this thing was hallucinating on me and that I should go back to sleep.
What you saw was likely a Shadow Person. Shadow People are as they sound shadowy humanoid figures. Some believe that they are wayward spirits while some call them Demons. They don't usually have features, but sometimes they can have eyes of varying colors.
@@jamesmiller9018 that's impossible, the area behind our bathroom is a storage or something like that, it belongs to our house , the area behind that storage is a small Landfill , two years ago we cleaned this landfill up , closed it , and made this landfill a barn.
The point is , it's very hard and unlikely to reach the area behind the bathroom.

That was dark. So this shadow figure after failing to harm the kids he went after his dad. It's scary when you feel completely frozen in fear and can't do anything , but what can you do in moments like these

I experienced the same thing that happened with him, but I am a Muslim and I believe in ghosts and jinn. This one that comes in the middle of the night and during sleep is called the corpse. It is a genie that you cannot move your body and most of the time you cannot speak. Even when you speak, no one can listen to you.

My elder sis have this disease called "sleep paralysis"... It happens with her often and even she shared many experiences of her with me .... She informed my parents about it but none of them took it seriously... But I know my sis have many horrific experience like once she saw a bald child near her bed staring at her with a creepy look , she saw a creepy woman staring at her and calling her name with smiling, she could listen someone is breathing near her ear while sleeping alone, someone holding her mouth tightly that she cannot breath..etc...
I know it will be much horrific for her than for me...This story I want to share with you and that's it...☺️☺️
