Did you watch Smallville when it was first released? Id heard of it late 2000s but never really watched it apart from the odd few episodes here and there. Watched it over the last couple of years. Really enjoy it. Don't know if I'll go right to the end. Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum are iconic in the roles. Best version of Lex Luthor. Different take him not being an outright villain at the start but you know how he's going to turn out. Should have been a live action movie with those two in it.
I completely agree. I haven’t felt this happy or excited about a superhero movie in a VERY long time. James Gunn definitely seems to be taking DC movies in the right direction
I was born the year the first Donner film was released, Superman III was the first l8ve action film I ever saw in theaters and I loved MOS, so me and Superman go way back and this trailer left me cold. The next one will determine if I see this in theaters or not, but it's not looking good. Happy you had such an emotional reaction. I wish I had your hope.
I am batman fan he is my favourite DC superhero But deep down i feel for superman because past 10 yrs or so superman as a character has been in too much controversial and this trailer made me cry and hopeful
44 years old. Grew up christopher reeve was my hero. My cousin was a good friend of his and was in the super/man documentary that just released. All it takes is that john Williams score to sell me. Can not wait for this movie
The problem with Superman returns was it was too "standoffish" and not directly action. Man of steel's mood was way too convoluted. They fear him! he's a hero! wait... There was no joy or making of a hero. I hope Gunn gets the right balance of the original and modern.
I'm 47, and I feel like I am reunited with old friends. I feel like a kid again. This is what DC and the comic book genre needed.
@@GenEXReviews I’m 47 as well and feel the same. Gunn is doing something special.

I did indeed get teary-eyed. I couldn’t stop smiling either

My heart feels good man!!!
@@N00bkillr693 Same!

Same here!
YOU'RE BACK!!!
I am!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who cried during this trailer! I was worried I was alone at first. This might be the greatest trailer I've ever seen!
I could feel my heart pounding in my chest for the first 30 seconds. I’m so excited! Gonna be a long 6 months
You're not alone Rudy.

@@MrHootiedean James Gunn hasn't let me down. I've loved all his movies, especially the GOTG trilogy. I have complete faith in the guy.
@GenEXReviews I don't share the same opinion on Gunn but I still wish the project well so if this film doesn't work for me, maybe a sequel will!

When he calls Crypto 😭
I wept like a child.
Man of steel is what made me like Superman. Never was a fan of the original films. This new one looks good but I’m worried it will get too goofy.
Looks decent

This was a great trailer very excited to see this in July
