How to Care for Roses in Winter - Rose Bush DISEASES Spraying Covering PRUNING SEALING Growing Tips

Do you like lush beautiful roses? And their amazing scent? Today I will tell you how to take care of roses. For spraying rose bushes in autumn, we use a solution of iron sulfate. This is a prevention against many fungal diseases, scab, black spot and others.

To prepare this mixture - dissolve 250 grams of ferrous sulfate in a small amount of warm water. Pre-filter and bring the volume to five liters. Always remember about personal protective equipment! We carefully process both the rose bushes themselves and the ground around. This will help to k!lI as many fungal bacteria as possible. Spray in calm weather with no rainfall expected in the near future.
Roses need to be insulated to endure frost. If the frost is not strong, spud the rose bushes with soil. Fill a mound of soil up to 30 cm high to cover the root and base of the bush. You can do this with soil around the bush, but it is better to use soil prepared in advance.
