They did Gundam X absolutely dirty in this game. Main is strong which is nice, but they shouldn't have made it unusable when the shield is destroyed, they should've just made the shield part unusable. Melee combos are mediocre but the priority and speed of the attack is pretty good. Cs is the Satellite Cannon, and while it is the highest damage attack in the game, it's also hard to use and doesn't even have a blast radius. What gives? they gave the Twin Buster Rifle a blast radius but apparently this one doesn't deserve it? Vulcans are good but they leave you still when using it. The Assist is really useful which is why it's pretty much unchanged from this to NP. Movement feels way too slow. G-Crossover is just way too hard to land even if the enemy is distracted. Overall a great suit for a 2000 tier... wait what do you mean he's 3000? I'm glad they changed him for the better in Next Plus. They made him really fast along with giving him an alternate Divider mode, which gave him loads of tools to work with like the strong and spammable Harmonica. They gave him a rapid fire weapon that can be charged to fire a spammable RX-78 Cs. They gave him a rocket launcher that has decent homing, though I find myself using it more for its break cancel. He can slide around which gives him just the mobility of the GP01fb. Also automatic Satellite Cannon charging is a nice bonus, they even made the Satellite Cannon beam bigger. All of this gave him enough tools to play both attack and support at the same time which makes it all the more deadly since his Satellite Cannon is still a game changer. He went from underwhelming to being one of the best in just one game, I think they knew they messed up.
I think the devs in this game assumed having sat cannon be a regular SP attack once it's charged was enough and slapped 3000 on a 2000 cost, even though there are 1000 costs with much more powerful gimmicks. An unfortunate side effect of cautious game balancing.
