The Transformed Wife is the way she is because her husband cheated on her a long time ago. She was convinced she was the reason so she turned into this. Now her entire life is surrounded around being what she thinks is the perfect wife to keep her awful husband from cheating on her again. I wish someone would do a deep dive into her lore because its something else. Ive went back and looked at alot of it just from what i can find online. She isnt happy. She is in constant fear that shes probably still being cheated on, and she probably is. Her husband now knows that no matter what he does, she'll just do whatever he wants because its her fault, not his. Its disturbing

my parents spanked me when I was a kid, and I've talked to my dad about his reasoning for doing that. he said it's because he doesn't believe that kids under ten or so are capable of having conversations about why they broke a rule/why they shouldn't break it in the future- he is not an abusive person, he only spanked because it was the parenting he grew up with, and even he thinks about kids in a way that's so uncharitable. I don't want to know what people like her think of children like, if she's so vocal to hit them.

She gives "god didn't want you to have children but he still loves you" vibes
Context: when I was 14 I almost died because I had appendicitis and my ovaries were wrapped around my tubes and stopped the blood flow so they had to remove an ovary, my tubes and my appendix so I can't get pregnant. Anyways last month on Mother's Day of all days my Christian grandmother said that it happened because god didn't want me to have children but he still loves me regardless if I can have children or not.. I almost died and had one of the worst things happen to me and I'm supposed to believe that god did that because of his plans but also still loves me? What a weird way to show his love..
She also believes adoption and surrogacy are kidnapping so there's that too 🤷🏻‍♀️
I just feel like this woman would say that exact same thing to me..
When I was 5 my grandma from my dads side adopted me (oh no!)
And i know that between her and both my aunts they'd be ready to beat this bish 😅 between my Christian grandma (she's my moms mom btw) and this lady on Twitter they're lucky they can hide behind a screen because they'd really need god after my grandma and aunts seen them face to face 😈
Was that a threat? No hun I'm just trying to warn you because I'm a nice person

@@alienenby I guess the ghosts of the parents would just want their children in the foster care system until they're 18 maybe even have the children living on the streets because wouldn't them being in foster care or with a relative also be "kidnapping" ? @@prettyevil6662000 right? Well based by her logic babies and children should be on the streets because wouldn't foster care be considered "kidnapping" ? Like it's all terrible but what's the difference you know? Like in foster care it's people getting paid for taking care of children who don't have their bio parents for whatever reason so wouldn't that be kidnapping? Like what's the difference between a child being in foster care or me adopting them and giving them a loving home? My grandma from my dads side adopted me because my parents lost custody when I was 3 and I was in foster care until i was 5 when my grandma adopted me so by her logic my grandma from my dads side kidnapped me.. I don't understand why it's ok that my grandma from my dads side adopted me when I was 5 but if I were to do it it's wrong.. or she thinks me being adopted is wrong too but she just won't say it knowing that the grandma that adopted me wouldn't take that crap.

Calling it kidnapping is wild, but I'm not a fan of surrogacy either tbh. I also was a Christian fundamentalist and cried multiple times because when I was a kid I knew I absolutely didn't want to fulfill the "right gender role" for me and I knew I wanted to get a job and I didn't want kids, but whenever I told adults I didn't want to get married I would always get laughed at and get told "oh you'll change your mind one day". Turns out I'm not trans or ace, I just knew I didn't fit that version of being a woman. When I found out I could get a job and have a partner that also didn't want kids, my life instantly became better. There is hope and it's better to be yourself than try to fit someone else's idea of what you should be/"actually want" to be.

God: "Adam, Eve, this is important. Do not eat the fruit."
Adam and Eve: "So God, you know that fruit we weren't supposed to eat? We just want to say, it was the snake's fault!"
Like you can sum up most of the old testament as God says don't do the thing, then the people do the thing. If someone wants to argue boundaries will not lead to rebellion, the bible is like the single worst place to find support for it.

2:27-5:25 - It's also incredibly classist to suggest that women need to be out of the workforce when they've always been there, because the only people who could and can afford to be out of the workforce are people who either come from money/marry into money/come into money. What time period is she trying to reference? Even in the Bible, women with little to no means had jobs beyond getting a husband and taking care of the home/children.

It’s so funny when conservatives talk about boundaries with children when they are the first ones to break those boundaries with their children, example touching and hugging their relatives, “give grandma kiss or hug “ or they take their door away for x,y,z reasons. I am very strict but I do gentle parenting. I explain very clearly why they can’t example run with sharp objects or shout loudly when their sibling is sleeping or when it’s the “quiet time “ in our apartment building ( 22-7 or 10pm to 7am ) or why they have to clean their toys etc I am strict but not abusive there’s the difference, I expect them to do things but I explain why and how.

I was spanked as a kid & vowed to never do it to my kids if I have any as it left me with PTSD that I'm still working coping with to this day & I never want any child I have to feel like they have to be scared of me or that they can't tell me anything for fear I might hurt them in any way. My rule of thumb is if they're not old enough to know they did something wrong & you know you can't explain to them in a way they will understand what they did was wrong then they're too young to be spanked & if you can sit down with them & have a conversation with them about their actions then they are too old to be spanked. To me someone's first instinct to their child doing something wrong is to hit them they either don't know there are better parenting styles or they don't see anything wrong with causing their child physically & emontional trauma because they think the lesson will only be learned through being spanked instead of taught though talking with their child. The role of the parent is to provide, protect, & teach your child so that when they get old they will be ready to go out into the world on their own while also know that they have a home to come back too if it gets to be too much

I would like to say something about the argument you made for the tweet at 5:28. When it comes to men lusting after random women on the street, I wholeheartedly agree with absolutely everything you said. However, in Christianity, it is a sin to even think about someone in that way which would make it a big problem even if they didn’t act on it. The argument about not acting on desire doesn’t work against Christians because even thinking about it is a sin. The last part of you argument about how men should start viewing women as human instead of objects would work though since the crux of her argument is that women should be blamed for their desire. Should a person without diabetes be blamed for eating sweets in front of a person with diabetes? No. If having lust is a sin, put the blame on the sinner, not the women he is objectifying.

Tw: Rant and life problems, nothing explicit but I get into deep stuff.)
Honestly, the part about "gentle parenting" is always twisted in some cases. My mom wasn't always nice growing up, immigrant and someone who had a terrible life, especially coming to the States. My mom in a sense does "gentle parenting" never hits me but did that woman have everything against me especially since I became depresssed and addicted to my phone since I wanted to escape my life 24/7, I couldn't do anything. I hated being clean or tidy, I hated getting into the shower or doing chores even if I actually wanted to try. I visibally remember this time, me and my mom were in her country for a little vacation but we fought A LOT. I told my mom I wasn't comfortable with being hugged or even touched by her family (Rightfully so, I never met them in real life. Only seeing them in video calls and what not), she forced me to throw this boundary away because she didn't want her family to be upset. I was mad and distant to EVERYONE, staying in the guest bedroom and not eating (Because I was depresssed, I wasn't listened to and I wasn't used to the food)... But this one night, me and my mom had a fight like usual. Just the usual back and forth until she asked, "What is the problem". I couldn't keep it in anymore, I started bawling out crying. I didn't have a all that nice childhood, I went through similar stuff my mom went through not as bad as hers but still bad. She only knows half of my trauma, I don't trust to tell her anytime soon. I just told her I was tired and I was still hurt and scared of the trauma, she comforted me. Actually being gentle until... Not TWO DAYS later, we fought again and talked down about that night. She did a 180. My mom was never one to actually care about my mental health but acts like she's a "gentle parent" since she doesn't hit me "Like an animal", she told me from when I was a teen. "I should take you back to your dad so you know real struggle". I was a f**king teen, what do you expect from a child who was scared and tired of life. This mindset is so backwards, like either or. What I've always said from my teens, "There's always good and bad" no matter if something is seen as good. Parents can twist "gentle parenting" and use it to mentally and emotionally @buse their child but if I had a child, I'd rather gentle parent than hit my child. Hitting children is the problem, you may or may not hit your child but don't tire them mentally or emotionally either. You're sick if you do either. :/

Withholding s*x CAN be a form of ab*se, but it's less talked about because there's a lot of nuance to be had there. If you're weaponizing your affection and attention inside & outside of the bedroom, that's not okay. It's not the same thing as just not wanting to be intimate with a person, which is okay

These chuckleheads need to get over two ideas about divorce. First, just because women are the ones more likely to file the legal paperwork doesn't mean they're the ones who ended the relationships, and second, that divorce is automatically a bad thing. Two happy divorced people are better than two miserable married people, even if they have children.

      Actual fun fact
Divorce rates by generation are RISING for older people and FALLING for younger people.
The reasoning is likely because older women are realizing they don't actually need a man anymore (my grandma couldn't make a bank account when she got married for example). Women can live alone now and older people realize this.
Younger people are more likely as well to find real love instead of someone to marry in order to actually live.

You wouldnt believe the number of people who only feel you should be ALLOWED to divorce only in instances of abuse and assault. Even if the parents despise each other so many people believe you should just "work it out" and the new gen is lazy because people are more likely to leave than stay in a toxic marriage. Its just gross.

There's also a huge myth that women get everything in the divorce and men are left with crumbs. It's actually statistically proven that woman are poorer after divorce and men are richer. Also the myth the women are always giving majority custody of children and dad is left without access. In the vast majority of divorce cases men don't actively seek out custody, and when they do they win over 70 percent of the time. All of these myths are just blatantly made up in order to demonize women who seek a divorce.

@@dragongamerboi13 Hi, while childhood abuse can be a risk factor for future abusive parenting, most abused children do not become abusers. Unfortunately, people who experience childhood abuse are more likely to continue to experience abuse in their adulthood. This is a common misunderstanding people have, but the research bears out that abused people are much more likely to experience domestic partner violence than to be the violent one. It makes sense because this is a pattern of treatment that they are acclimated to accept from childhood. I think it is harmful to perpetuate the false claim that abused people grow up to abuse others, but I don't think you mean to cause harm. Luckily the data show that being abused does not make a person become an abuser. This is a well researched question, so no one needs to take my word on it. Check out the US Department of Justice for more info on abuse survivors in the US. Thank you for your understanding.

The man is the head of the house and everything is to be done according to his rules and will. The children in the family are merely extensions of the marriage and are NEVER given priority. I know that for a solid fact because that was a theme in my own childhood. The most screwed up part is that these horrible women are not putting their husbands before the children, they are putting themselves before the children. Pure narcissistic gratification.

They are 13 and 11 now, and they are such amazing little people (granted the 13 year old is as tall as me now, so not so little). Gentle parenting is a net positive, and thinking about going through all the work and sacrifice it takes to have and raise children just to turn around and hit them when they displease me? Absolutely not. Discipline doesn't have to mean being a giant asshole to my kids, it just means enforcing natural consequences and communicating expectations and boundaries in a way that they understand so they can do their best to meet those expectations. I see my kids as people, not extensions of myself. I almost feel bad for parents like her, and I definitely feel bad for their children. I wouldn't change my relationship with my kids for the world.

There's something interesting with the "women regretting having kids" part. We keep telling women that they'll regret not having children, to the point where there's no room for conversation about regretting having them, actually. I think it's an unspoken problem cuz there's so much pressure on women to be good mothers that they can't possibly admit it without looking like a monster in everyone's eyes. I remember reading that from a French author (if I recall correctly, it's Mona Chollet's Sorcières). But there's an author who wrote a book about it ! I don't remember her name tho.
Oh and regretting having them doesn't mean that it's okay to abuse them ofc. The women who speak about it say that they still love and care for their kid, but that they would do differently if they could do it again. It's more of a "I was so focused on thoughts of regret about not having a child, that I forgot to think about the fact that I might regret having them"
