- I had a couple of requests to do a totally basic video on items on how to fight bass. Perfect time since I am starting over. Here, I show the basics of the HUD and how I like to fight bass as well as some retrieval techniques.
Also, I recommend when you first start the game, that you do some offline tournaments to upgrade your equipment and win lots of XP and TP doing some offline carp tournaments. That way before starting the career you will have lots of money for lures and dead baits.
I used the 3 lures starting lures and line for this tutorial.
Note: This video has some dropped frames because I was experimenting with new capture software, that will be fixed for next video.

Idk if it matters, but for the begginers, my favourite lure is “the 48 - milk money”. I usually get between 35-45lbs bags in the guntersville tournament using it

Amateur is way easier than pro I won every amateur bass and carp comp but pro it's way harder to even finish top 10. I'm terrified to go to elite lol.

One thing you don’t really mention unless I missed it is the colour of the ring around the hook indicator when you’re predator fishing as you was reeling in its showing you how well you’re presenting the lure to the fish so red is bad orange is average & green is good so basically you wanna try & make sure it’s green as much as possible to have the highest chance of bagging yourself a fish & also always read the description on the lure you’re using cause it tells you what movements work with that lure & what movements don’t so for example constant movement might work with some lures but not with others

This game is actually good. Minor issues with tackle box and fighting of the fish. Also I like that , just like fishing, you don’t catch every cast. You gotta work for it.

I'm starting from scratch. It might be useful if you make a video on what to buy with your tp when starting out. I was tired of fish breaking my 10# line and when I catch one, it takes forever to reel in. I decided to use my total TP and purchase a 30# line, figured it be useful for other species.
Yes, I talk a little bit about that in the carp tutorial, definitely upgrade to a #2 hook so you can snag bigger carp, after that upgrade your line and your reel. A great reel is the Haichou tournament carp reel. I recommend you doo offline tournamnets to make lots of TP and XP to make it easier for yourself on the career mode.

@@susansmith3209 Have you tried top water lures? I love the buzzbaits for bass, I find the black plague is really good, I also like the YUM red christie crawfish for sinking lure. Are you fishing under the bridge like in the vid?
@@LetsGoFishingSim yes.. along the left wall is GREAT!!! caught many 8 - 11 pounders there. the bay close to the rock wall on left side is great for using black plague buzz bomb.

I'm fishing around almost the same area as you . And I caught 2 long nose gar & a giant catfish !!!
Yeah, you might get some other species but there are lots of bass in that area!

I bought the game and there is a very big bug which doesn't allow me to change my reel s^peed ,take part in the challenges,etc. and the dev's won't do anything about. Uninstalled ,installed it again but no avail. Euro Fishing aswell. I play on PC...

Im stuck on the it says (constant) ect what do i do?
"Constant" just means the pace at which you are retrieving your lure, keep it at a speed between 1 and 3, and hold down retrieve button until the "constant" turns green.
Somebody please help me. I bought a bunch of new lures but I don’t have them in my tackle box. I can’t pick them out to fish with, why?
I just started playing, How do you use more than a singe rod at once in the water?
You can only use more than one rod when you're fishing on a peg (for example Waldsee or Bergsee), so if you're on the boat then you can only use one rod at a time.
Find a peg pick up a rod cast it and put it down and do it for the rest

Hello, if you like carp fishing, buy a #2 hook and and 30lb line, or the carp haichou torunament reel, and do carp offline tournaments to get more TP and XP. If you wanna keep fishing for bass, I like the Sonik Magna Travel 8 ft, and you can get 15 orlb Vursa line, and get more lures like the buzzbait black pague, the ocean breeze pro shad, the yum dinger christie craw to start. hope that helps. What are the best settings for this game ? Or are there any settings at all ? How do you decrease the line on PS4 once you hooked it ?
I don't really change any settings. You adjust your line tensions by pressing up and down on the Dpad.
Anyone know what button on PS4 to press to give it some slack so your line doesn't snap ?
Why did you start with that boat? I started with the crappy 200
I got that boat on DLC. If you make an account they give you a boat that's a bit better.
You can also just press Y to clip the line if you have a fish you don't want to waste time on.
How many trophies have you caught in gigantica
Probably 10 of them between my xbox and steam, but haven't made videos of all of them!

Cast…. And make sure you don’t have your line clipped, on ps4 it’s triangle… it screwed me lots till I noticed I accidentally clipped it

Go to the settings and make sure you have basic casting mode enabled.

Idk what's going on but my first couple of events I came in first place with 20lb+ bag but yesterday day I broke off 5 in a row that were probably 10lb+
Try fishing with 15lb line, and if you notice they're big and not jumping out of water be more careful with the drag setting. Hope that helps! Good luck!

Bass was easy until I turned pro lmao now I cant catch anything, I just drive around all round. Lake travis is brutal.
Lol yeah, try this same spot from different angles, sometimes there's lots of bass on the left side by the rocks. This spot has been consistent for me but things are always changing. Good luck!

Man this game is so frustrating I will catch 28 lbs of fish with 4-6 minutes left and then it won’t let me catch any more. Meanwhile 1-2 npc characters will get 31-33lbs of bass and win.... oh man it’s so annoying! I’ve played for months and I’m a decent fisherman in all other categories but the dang offline tournaments

Hey, make sure you're not using a topwater lure, in the description under the equipment option it will tell you if the lure sinks.

I know it sounds silly but I really can't adjust the speed to 2, how does that 90 work?
I can press 9 or 0 until I go crazy, nothing happens, it stays set to 3
When I shoot the fish is 5, when I throw it is 3. I don't know how to adjust to 2.

Please somebody help me ! I don't understand why changing the speed 1-2-3-4-5 from setting 9 0 ?? It's standard 3 and maximum 5. I can't set to 2 when I take it out or when I work on Constant, it stays on 3 and I don't understand why I can't decrease this speed to 2, I repeat - 9 0 doesn't work. I bought the game on Steam, I don't even see where I can change the keyboard settings .... OFFFF !!!!! I was filled with poor strike !!!!
