Me too, if he really not good in dance he wouldn't manage to keep in sync with others, I noticed when ppl start say he bad at dancing then he start get not confident and make him keep look at others members while dancing, when they first debuted he look fierce n confident, well, we love you dancing king💜
This is my opinion but I think Jin looks exactly the same as everyone else who is dancing. So I've never understood why some people say he can't dance😂
People say he can't dance but honestly he works so hard to be as good as his members and he get's better every time i can't even compare they're all great dancers meanwhile i'm the one over here that can't even dance ! lol GO JIN !!!!!!!!!!
Honestly if watch the dance practices, Jin looks phenomenal. I think he just gets nervous therefore becoming tense while dancing during performances. I so wish he wouldn't though, he deserves all the confidence in the world.

Jin (and also Namjoon) is actually a great dancer, it's just that Hobi, Jimin and Jungkook are _extraordinary_ dancers, so of course he looks weaker in comparison to them (although he slayed next to Hobi in the "NO" choreography like damn boy!). If you focus just on him like you did in this video, it's pretty obvious that he's in fact very good. I honestly think that his biggest "flaw" (for lack of a better word) in dancing is that he has the least "natural swag" (again for lack of a better word 😅) in the group. His on stage/off stage personae are probably the most different from each other, especially when it comes to sexy choreographies. He's that preppy, modest gentleman without roots in the hip hop or dancing culture, so delivering these performances doesn't come as natural to him as it does to the other members. He IS very capable of doing the movements, but his face often looks a little concerned/too focused instead of "in character", which is something esp Jungkook or Tae are outstanding at as soon as they step on stage. If he's able to figure this out in the future (and it has gotten a lot better since "Fake Love" imo), his stage presence will be insane.
I think you’re absolutely right. When i was watching jin he hit all the moves flawlessly it was just he was focusing a lot on getting the choreo down that the “character” is lost on his face. I absolutely love jin though and he’s improved so much
I don't think it's absolutely right, I'm not trying to have a fight I just want to say my opinion😊 I think he doesn't lack in terms of character because character and their facial expressions are also important parts in their choreography, its part of the choreography. All kpop groups does. They are all good dancers its just that dance lines talent in dancing is natural, they were born with it while the others are not that good at the start. They were also born with it its just that it was hidden and needs to be exposed, enhance and improved, look at them right now. they can keep up with the dance line, they've gone so far to be on the top (sorry for my english, not my first language) its my opinion
I was a dancer and I've been impressed with Jin's dancing since day. For someone with no prior training he's doing awesome. Even for some people with training that choreo is dang hard. He has loosened up over the years and just keeps getting better. He will Fly!💜
He improved so much I'm so proud! I noticed that he is mostly comfortable with dances that are real fun! Jin is a very happy person who loves having fun! You can see how happy he is in things like War of Hormone, GoGo, 21st Century Girl, Boy In Luv, and Anpanman! He does amazing with every style since debut but if you see him do these dances he smiles throughout them and dances them happily! Jin is truly a shining star!
Undoubtedly if you compare him to some like hoseok or jungkook his moves are less sharp and precise but that doesn’t make him a bad dancer, he is a bit less skilled than others but that’s only because he had to learn from scratch during his adulthood and didn’t start as a kid with a passion for dancing. This only makes his progress more outstanding, he is an incredibile dancer and neither his or joon’s dancing is anywhere close to bad, bad dancing is something very different
Ok as a choreographer, can I just say something. It is easy to spot someone who can't dance if you just look at their hand gestures and the most simple move, like body rolls. With what Mr song said earlier, Jin is extremely stiff, but for someone to move like that, that good, this is even on the debut year, you can see how hard he practiced. I personally think that everyone has an ability to dace, you just need to tap into your inner dancer, and with hard work, anything can happen. For someone who doesn't have any background in dance, Jin may look like someone who had some sort of background at dance. Yes, I know that that's not much, but look Jin was scouted without any background knowledge on what we can say as idol prerequisite but look at he can do. Consider the time that they are given too, that within itself is already taxing for experienced dancers. I have so much to say but I don't want to rant here. I just want people to appreciate just how much Jin, and not just him, idols, in general, put into their work. I really hope that people would consider these things and not selfishly scrutinize others, thank you for your time.

Jin is a beautiful person inside and out. His unending dedication to bettering himself is so impressive. He could have just accepted he was not a born dancer and left it at that but that's not Jin. He worked tirelessly putting in so many extra hours to improve himself. A true star.
He started to improve much more during the “Save Me” era, after that, Blood Sweat and tears, he finally got much better at expressing himself through dancing.

A person who cannot dance would be unable to learn what he's learned. He may not be a gifted dancer like the dance line but the man can dance better than half the world. His improvement in fluidity & face/body expression alone is insanely impressive.
I cant even begin to measure just how much i adore this man. Ok so he isnt the best dancer in BTS and he might take longer to learn than the others but come on... can we appreciate the standard of dancing from these guys. Jin held his own with confidence in every one of those routines. I'm no dancer, however I did some contemporary dance, and I been working in the theater for more than 10 years. This man is an absolute king! Both Vocal and dancer. I discovered bts thanks to his ephifany like almost a year and a half ago, keep reading things about jin being not a good dancer, like how????! Maybe he doesn't have a "background" but he started young, maybe the others had a bit more experience, and they learn dance moves on the spot (like jhope), he only takes more time learning the moves, but he is in deed a great dancer, I mean seriously all his band mates keep saying he's been good since the beginning they are videos of jhope, V, Jimin, saying he is amazing. Also something that really got me so impressed is how he delivers emotions thru his songs, he makes you feel every single note, transfer to the dancing as well. I have a lot of love and respect for him. WWH/SILVER VOICE JIN is absolutely amazing 💙💜💓.
I can't say he's my bias, they are all equal in my eyes but Jin is a personality I'd love to date, I love Funny guys, And Center Jin is My Favorite, Center Dancing Jin is off the chain..... I can see a huge difference in his flow, he is now keeping up and as fluid as J-Hope....

Indah Panjaitan Yes, I agree. J-Hope and Jimin have been great mentors for Jin. Jin has spoken about how they spent time with him and RM after dance practice to teach them. He practiced/practices a lot to make sure he gets it right. He really made good use of what he learned from them. Evidence of how good he can dance now is PD Bang’s approval to let him dance in the front.
I am a dancer not a professional dancer but when to 2013 to 2017 I can tell a difference it’s true he was stiff but he was on sync as when I see to Bs&t he is very smooth with his dancing I am very proud of him and gets SOOOO good these next 7 years:3

처음 방탄에 대해 관심을 가지게 된 게 아마 어디선가 들려온 피땀눈물 노래가 시작이었던 것 같다.. 매력적인 노래에 끌렸고, 처음엔 타멤버의 미모에 반해 방탄에 대한 이런저런 영상들을 보던 중 멤버 '진'을 알게 되고 점점 그의 매력에 끌려 그의 캐스팅부터(정확히는 출생부터) 현재까지의 대부분의 영상을 본듯하다.. 그러다 진이란 사람이 나에게 감동으로 다가온 것은 그의 올곧은 성품과 엄청난 노력, 그리고 잘 하는 것이 많음에도 항상 겸손을 잃지않는 것. 그러다 본인이 노래나 춤에 대해 부족하다고 느낀 부분을 솔직하게 방송에서나 인터뷰에서 이야기하는 것을 보았고 관련 영상들도 보았는데, 내 의견을 말하자면 나도 유년시절 한때 가수를 꿈꾸며 노래와 춤을 꽤 오랫동안 익혀봤던 사람으로서 진이 절대 못하는 게 아니라고 말하고 싶었다, 아니 오히려 신체 발달이 거의 끝난 20살이라는 나이에 춤을 시작했다면 시작할 수 있을까싶을 정도로 정말 많이 힘들었을텐데도 그는 엄청난 연습과 노력을 했고, 연습생 시절 안무연습 영상을 보면 악플러들의 말과 다르게 칼군무로 아주 잘 하던데?! 보통 춤꾼들은 몸이 다소 둥글게 말려있는데 진은 큰키와 직각의 넓은 어깨, 마른 체형으로 인해 데뷔초 몇몇 동작이 조금 어색해보일 수는 있으나, 객관적으로 볼 때 그의 춤선이 굉장히 교과서적으로 깔끔하고, 흐느적거리거나 과하지않아 담백해서 좋다. 그래서 몇몇 안티 혹은 일반인들이 그가 춤을 못 춘다는 말에 동감할 수 없었다. 노래 또한 배우 발성에서 가수 발성으로 변화하는 것 자체가 굉장히 힘들었을텐데 수많은 노력으로 잘 해내었고 음색도 점점 아름다워지더니 저음, 중음, 고음, 3단 고음까지 소화하며 현재는 라이브 킹이라는 닉네임까지 생겼을 정도. 선한 인품, 스마트함, 재치, 순발력, 사랑스러움과 피지컬, 비주얼까지.. 완벽하게 느껴지는 진은, 내가 살아오면서 봐온 사람 중 가장 한결같고 특별하고 존경스러운 사람이다. 나라면 그의 반의 반의 반도 못 해냈을텐데 정말 단단하고 대단한 사람이다. 사람 대 사람으로서도, 팬으로서도 그는 나에게 너무소중하고 완벽하고 사랑스러운 사람이다.. 그가 어디서 무얼 하든 응원하고 지지한다. 진과 동시대를 살아갈 수 있음에 행복하고 감사하며 한 아미 누나가 끄적거림..♡

Jin Really can dance in despite of his height.. im not a professional dancer but I do dance and based on how he dance, he's really good compare on other people I know. His lines are on point, he may be a little stiff but it's not so obvious.. well I really do stan Jimin and JHope in relates in dancing but Jin is really good.. For me every BTS member are amazing. Jin is prefect for me, if you watching Jin dance actually he always right on beat, every beat he hit is on the right timing. Who judge Jin can’t dance, they are dump.
His first years his body is a little stiff that's why when he moves it looks awkward but little by little he improve his moves are way more smooth than past ones and i'm proud of that(i know other armys too are) plus his voice is more beautiful nowww like wowwwwwww We armys really stan such talented and hard working men😊😊
It wasn't until this year after Billboard Music Awards that I discovered BTS so I'm still playing a lot of catch up but I can say one thing, I have a newfound appreciation for Jin.
I guess the main point is: he's always been a good dancer, but right now he looks more into the dance moves now. (and, from the videos of them practicing, he probably learns the choreographs easier than before, but he's always been great!)

April 2023 I just found this now. It's so good. Jinnie's dancing is wonderful. In the first few clips he looks so serious ha But he's keeping up with the others, so far, so good. There's lots of stories (beside this yours) about him practicing alone, all night. His determination makes me want to cry. It's funny, as he's gotten older and such a good dancer, he seems to be more conservative with the suggestive moves, and even showing what he's got....so cute. I hope he doesn't forget his dancing while he's in the military. Although, his team did win the talent show a couple of months ago. I wonder what the choreography was like? Ha ha

He did the choreography for Spine Breaker, and that is just amazing itself. He has a talent, he just hasn’t adjust to it much. Jin started off with no experience as you thought. But his Father is a CEO of an unknown company, that’s why his persona is a real gentleman. He works very hard for his members or brothers as i could say. Jin is a human that can overcome situations within a blink of an eye, he’s very positive about some situations. Seeing the bright side of it all. He’s special and so are the boys. We aren’t perfect, neither are they. so please see them as Humans, Not robots.
Quite clearly Jin is a hard worker and has a very professional approach to his work. He deserves lots of praise and respect. He has done well. His voice is also phenomenal. HE is just great. Love him.

A person who cannot dance would be unable to learn what he's learned. He may not be a gifted dancer like the dance line but the man can dance better than half the world. His improvement in fluidity & face/body expression alone is insanely impressive.
I cant even begin to measure just how much i adore this man. Ok so he isnt the best dancer in BTS and he might take longer to learn than the others but come on... can we appreciate the standard of dancing from these guys. Jin held his own with confidence in every one of those routines. I have nothing but admiration and love for his perseverance, dedication and inner strength to always push himself hard to achieve his best... i see him dance in that centre spot and just think... Yessssss Jin 😍 because this guy has absolutely earned that place 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I'm no dancer, however I did some contemporary dance, and I been working in the theater for more than 10 years. This man is an absolute king! Both Vocal and dancer. I discovered bts thanks to his ephifany like almost a year and a half ago, keep reading things about jin being not a good dancer, like how????! Maybe he doesn't have a "background" but he started young, maybe the others had a bit more experience, and they learn dance moves on the spot (like jhope), he only takes more time learning the moves, but he is in deed a great dancer, I mean seriously all his band mates keep saying he's been good since the beginning they are videos of jhope, V, Jimin, saying he is amazing. Also something that really got me so impressed is how he delivers emotions thru his songs, he makes you feel every single note, transfer to the dancing as well. I have a lot of love and respect for him. WWH/SILVER VOICE JIN is absolutely amazing 💙💜💓.
I can't say he's my bias, they are all equal in my eyes but Jin is a personality I'd love to date, I love Funny guys, And Center Jin is My Favorite, Center Dancing Jin is off the chain..... I can see a huge difference in his flow, he is now keeping up and as fluid as J-Hope....

Indah Panjaitan Yes, I agree. J-Hope and Jimin have been great mentors for Jin. Jin has spoken about how they spent time with him and RM after dance practice to teach them. He practiced/practices a lot to make sure he gets it right. He really made good use of what he learned from them.
Evidence of how good he can dance now is PD Bang’s approval to let him dance in the front.

I am a dancer not a professional dancer but when to 2013 to 2017 I can tell a difference it’s true he was stiff but he was on sync as when I see to Bs&t he is very smooth with his dancing I am very proud of him and gets SOOOO good these next 7 years:3

#Seokjin and #Jimin have always been my bias from the beginning. I love all the members in their own unique way. But these 2 have showed me their other sides and struggles. 처음 방탄에 대해 관심을 가지게 된 게 아마 어디선가 들려온 피땀눈물 노래가 시작이었던 것 같다.. 매력적인 노래에 끌렸고, 처음엔 타멤버의 미모에 반해 방탄에 대한 이런저런 영상들을 보던 중 멤버 '진'을 알게 되고 점점 그의 매력에 끌려 그의 캐스팅부터(정확히는 출생부터) 현재까지의 대부분의 영상을 본듯하다.. 그러다 진이란 사람이 나에게 감동으로 다가온 것은 그의 올곧은 성품과 엄청난 노력, 그리고 잘 하는 것이 많음에도 항상 겸손을 잃지않는 것. 그러다 본인이 노래나 춤에 대해 부족하다고 느낀 부분을 솔직하게 방송에서나 인터뷰에서 이야기하는 것을 보았고 관련 영상들도 보았는데, 내 의견을 말하자면 나도 유년시절 한때 가수를 꿈꾸며 노래와 춤을 꽤 오랫동안 익혀봤던 사람으로서 진이 절대 못하는 게 아니라고 말하고 싶었다, 아니 오히려 신체 발달이 거의 끝난 20살이라는 나이에 춤을 시작했다면 시작할 수 있을까싶을 정도로 정말 많이 힘들었을텐데도 그는 엄청난 연습과 노력을 했고, 연습생 시절 안무연습 영상을 보면 악플러들의 말과 다르게 칼군무로 아주 잘 하던데?! 보통 춤꾼들은 몸이 다소 둥글게 말려있는데 진은 큰키와 직각의 넓은 어깨, 마른 체형으로 인해 데뷔초 몇몇 동작이 조금 어색해보일 수는 있으나, 객관적으로 볼 때 그의 춤선이 굉장히 교과서적으로 깔끔하고, 흐느적거리거나 과하지않아 담백해서 좋다. 그래서 몇몇 안티 혹은 일반인들이 그가 춤을 못 춘다는 말에 동감할 수 없었다.
노래 또한 배우 발성에서 가수 발성으로 변화하는 것 자체가 굉장히 힘들었을텐데 수많은 노력으로 잘 해내었고 음색도 점점 아름다워지더니 저음, 중음, 고음, 3단 고음까지 소화하며 현재는 라이브 킹이라는 닉네임까지 생겼을 정도.
선한 인품, 스마트함, 재치, 순발력, 사랑스러움과 피지컬, 비주얼까지.. 완벽하게 느껴지는 진은, 내가 살아오면서 봐온 사람 중 가장 한결같고 특별하고 존경스러운 사람이다. 나라면 그의 반의 반의 반도 못 해냈을텐데 정말 단단하고 대단한 사람이다. 사람 대 사람으로서도, 팬으로서도 그는 나에게 너무소중하고 완벽하고 사랑스러운 사람이다.. 그가 어디서 무얼 하든 응원하고 지지한다. 진과 동시대를 살아갈 수 있음에 행복하고 감사하며

Jin Really can dance in despite of his height.. im not a professional dancer but I do dance and based on how he dance, he's really good compare on other people I know. His lines are on point, he may be a little stiff but it's not so obvious.. well I really do stan Jimin and JHope in relates in dancing but Jin is really good.. For me every BTS member are amazing. Jin is prefect for me, if you watching Jin dance actually he always right on beat, every beat he hit is on the right timing. Who judge Jin can’t dance, they are dump.

I guess the main point is: he's always been a good dancer, but right now he looks more into the dance moves now. (and, from the videos of them practicing, he probably learns the choreographs easier than before, but he's always been great!)

April 2023 I just found this now. It's so good. Jinnie's dancing is wonderful.
In the first few clips he looks so serious ha But he's keeping up with the others,
so far, so good. There's lots of stories
(beside this yours) about him practicing alone, all night. His determination makes me want to cry. It's funny, as he's gotten older and such a good dancer, he seems to be more conservative with the suggestive moves, and even showing what he's got....so cute.
I hope he doesn't forget his dancing while he's in the military. Although, his team did win the talent show a couple of months ago. I wonder what the choreography was like? Ha ha

Jin can really dance ,, u would say if he's not , if he cannot follow the tempo , that fast moves and tough choreography .. But he CAN !! Jin improved alot bcoz of his hardwork , so we need to appreciate him , not just ur bias but all of them .
He did the choreography for Spine Breaker, and that is just amazing itself.
He has a talent, he just hasn’t adjust to it much. Jin started off with no experience as you thought. But his Father is a CEO of an unknown company, that’s why his persona is a real gentleman. He works very hard for his members or brothers as i could say.
Jin is a human that can overcome situations within a blink of an eye, he’s very positive about some situations. Seeing the bright side of it all. He’s special and so are the boys.
We aren’t perfect, neither are they. so please see them as Humans, Not robots.
Quite clearly Jin is a hard worker and has a very professional approach to his work. He deserves lots of praise and respect. He has done well. His voice is also phenomenal. HE is just great. Love him.
