पुरूषोत्तम मास में जहाँ दान धर्म आदि करने का उल्लेख पुराणों में किया गया है वहीं विभिन्न यात्राएँ भी इसी माह में होती है। नौ नारायण यात्रा प्रमुख है।
नौ नारायण के दर्शन करने से नौ ग्रहों की शांति हो जाती है। इनकी पंचोपचार पूजा करना चाहिए। पूजा या यात्रा के साथ दान का भी महत्व शास्त्रों में बताया गया है। नौ नारायण भगवान विष्णु के दशावतारों के विभिन्न स्वरूप हैं। ये नौ स्वरूप उज्जैन में ही विराजित है।

अनंतनारायण: अनंत पेठ स्थित अनंतनारायण मंदिर 300 वर्ष से अधिक पुराना है। यहां अधिक मास के अलावा हरियाली अमावस्या तथा अनंत चतुर्दशी पर पूजा का विशेष महत्व है। इनकी पूजा करने से अनंत सुख मिलता है।

Seeing nine Narayan brings peace to the nine planets. They should be worshiped Pancho Pachar. Along with worship or yatra, the importance of charity is also mentioned in the scriptures. Nine Narayan are different forms of Dash avatars of Lord Vishnu. These nine forms are present in Ujjain only.

Anant Narayan - Anant Peth Location Anant Narayan Temple is more than 300 years old. Apart from Adhik Maas, worship on Hariyali Amavasya and Anant Chaturdashi has special significance. Worshiping them gives infinite happiness.
