It's such a shame Thomas and James are enemies in a lot of stories, considering the first time they ever interacted was when Thomas helped James after his big crash.
@@eslm-studios2996 I know, right? In all the new seasons Thomas is just wherever the story is taking place, miles away from his own branch line! It makes absolutely no sense.
@@henrytheriverengine8234 It made sense in the first and second seasons, but when it came to the third season, yeah, that was noticeable. Especially when Awdry himself claimed that.
Thomas really is a smart little tank engine for springing into action like that after James crashed, either nobody else was in Tidmouth at the time or they were all too awestruck to do anything; Classic Thomas is best Thomas
"I've never seen Thomas quite like that," Edward said as he watched Thomas puff out with the breakdown train in tow. Thomas was cross. "Bother those trucks! What makes them think they've got the right to treat us engines like that?" he muttered. Eventually, he found James and his wrecked trucks on the side of the rails. Judy and Jerome went right to work, picking up the trucks one by one. "Oh dear! Oh dear!" the trucks whined as Thomas pushed them along. "Serves you right," the little tank engine responded. The time came for James to be lifted back onto the rails. "Promise me you won't bring this up to the other engines?" James asked once he was back on track . "The others can't see me like this!" "Don't worry, they won't," Thomas responded. "I'll bring you to the Steamworks right away. That way, it'll be between you, me, Victor, and Kevin!" Thomas doggedly pushed James's damaged form along. He was tired, but he eventually brought the black mixed-traffic engine to the Sodor Steamworks. To their surprise, Sir Topham Hatt and Edward were there waiting for them. "Thomas, Edward's told me all about your little escapade today-" "I'm sorry, sir. I should've asked you about taking the breakdown train." "You didn't let me finish, Thomas! 2:52 Now Thomas is as happy as can be. He has a branchline, and two coaches called Annie and Clarabel. He puffs proudly backwards and forwards with them all day.
He is never lonely Edward and Henry stop quite often and tell him the news, Gordon is always in a hurry but never forgets to say ‘Boop Boop’ And Thomas always whistles ‘Peep and peep’ in return.
I love this. The music in that story was already a great assortment, and this reorchestration makes me feel goosebumps and shivers the likes of which I usually only get from John Williams.
If only Williams continued to compose the Harry Potter movies like this though... Edit: This genuinely sounds like what the Battle of Hogwarts sounded like musically.
Interestingly it's the same person that composed the soundtrack for both Pirates and The Rock, Hans Zimmer. Though I'm sure you know that. The Rock has one of my favourite OSTs of all time, part of the reason I became a musician was hearing it at around 12 years old. I used to fast forward to the credits just to listen to the main theme.
Yes this is the right toner I am imagining the movement to sound and everything I can tell that little danger tone to it great job keep up the good work
As he raced back to the yards, an alarm was sounded to warn the others about James. Thomas coupled up to the breakdown train and set forth towards the main line. “Where are you going?” Edward asked. “To help James!” Thomas said as he struggled to pull the heavy cranes. Soon, he was at the site of the accident. He was hard at work shunting the unhurt trucks back and forth into a line. The ones that were hurt was put onto the flatcars. “This will teach you a lesson.” Thomas said as he bumped the trucks angrily. The trucks groaned as they replied “Yes it will.” Soon, the tracks were cleared of the wreckage to lift James. The chains were hooked on as he was slowly but steadily lifted into the air. Thomas watched in surprise as the cranes carried him onto the tracks. He tried to move, but something was wrong. So he was put on a flatcar with his tender as thomas shunted him to the works. Sir Topham Hat was waiting there with Edward. “Well done Thomas!” He said very proudly. “For your bravery of assisting James with the accident, I shall have him proper breaks, some repairs here and there, and a bright red coat of paint with black stripes.” James was amused by the sound of that but still in pain. “And for you Thomas, you shall have the gift I should’ve given you earlier. You see those two coaches over there?” He pointed and Thomas saw two small Victorian coaches with their names written out in calligraphy: Annie & Clarabel. Thomas’s eyes widened as he looked back to the fat controller. “Sir, you mean?” Sir Topham Hat smiled as he said “Yes indeed, that branch line is your very own. A symbol of trust.” Thomas smiled the biggest smile he ever did as he blared his whistle happily. “Oh thank you sir!” He said as he went back to the sheds to rest. Nowadays, Thomas has a scheduled shift where he pulls Annie and Clarabel on his branch line. Although he still shunts trucks too, Thomas doesn’t mind it anymore. Thomas traveled down the line, a happy and really useful engine. Edward watched him depart and smiled as he said “Off to see the world!”
0:03 and a goods train came rushing through very fast. The engine, a new one called james, was frightened. He was screaming and whistling. His brake blocks are on fire.

One does have to wonder why that's the case. If I recall, this seems to be a reoccurring thing in the TVS and CGI series, yet never in the RWS.
@@eslm-studios2996 That was mostly because Thomas never interacted with the Main Line Engines after moving to his branch line.
@@henrytheriverengine8234 Maybe not, but then again, the series didn't purely focus on Thomas. (which, to me, made it feel more alive)
