I feel like going on a road trip with my friends and listening to this with the wind blowing, at the moment when I forget all the problems in my life for a short while and appreciate the very existence of everything around us.
I can't stand to think my life is going so fast and I am not really living it. I'm 19 and my teenage years went past without any special memories. Sometimes I wish if I was dead involuntary.
Actually I can't, because of various factors in my life. And of course the biggest one is school, which I have to finish and then go to a university to get a degree in order to find a job far away from here..Makes me so sad. I wish every day something huge changed and I could literally do whatever I wanted, but I feel trapped here. Maybe if I were back in the 60s-70s..:/
HARA MELETIOU omgggg why we are so alikee?!! That's my dream too, to study in a foreign University and work there to live. I was obsessed with that dream of mine that i had done many things. And yes, i can't start over from where I'm currently living due to many things. My dream is to get away far but not as a runaway but as a student or job or citizen. I want to move out to actually live but sometimes I cry when I think about it because the chance of making it is very less and it takes time and the best time of my life might have already passed. Future scares me.

Since there's no comment addressing the song's actual meaning, I'll speak from experience. I had this best friend I was inevitably attracted to. I'm unsure of whether he knew that or not. This song makes me want to tear myself up and send my bits to him, with a letter speaking my heart out. anyway, we spent all our time together before, during and after classes. everyone thought we were together and that seemed ludicrous until we finally decided to hang out, just the two of us, the whole day long, after a complete year of our friendship. that's the day I realised there was something more than just friendship. I wasn't exclusively happy about it either. he was kinda dumb but lovely and I kept telling him that he's more of a feeling than a real being. we spoke to each other all day long, on the phone, keeping it a secret from everyone but us. we couldn't stand being apart but I'm dubious of that meaning the same to him as it did to me. now, we don't talk because he disliked my personality (which made me livid) and wished me a birthday through a mutual friend. he was the closest thing I had to being in love. I try not to think about him but my mind wanders away to those happy moments where nothing ever truly mattered. *Update* : I was a teenager when I wrote this ☠️ I know it's INCREDIBLY dramatic, but we reconnected after a while only to lose touch again. Some things just aren't meant to be, I reckon.
