@@treehousebrewco lol.. I agree, but if anyone can pull off something like that it's definitely you guys! See what the future brings! I die on my hill saying Treehouse is still the most impressive thing in craft beer history! No outside accounts, no distro! Come to our locations, that's it... crazy! And started in a garage basically lol... Cheers! Revisiting memorial day weekend.. been to every one other than the farm.. def gonna try and get there this trip! 🍻
Nice review Nate. I was a bit worried after your first couple of NZ reviews that you hadn’t seen enough here, but now I’m more confident that you’ve made a pretty good lap.
we drank a lot of good beer but it's really hard to impress how difficult it was to shoot these videos and accomplish our hop selection goal - we did our best to find good stuff on our way. we have one more video in the hopper with IPA.
The thing about lactose is true, moderation is good to not completely take away from the malt on its own. That's what is tough about picking out milk stouts but that said, all beers still look worthy to try among these. Good showcase of not just hoppier beer because that is primarily what the US craft scene has borrowed from them.
Glad you enjoyed Cassel’s milk stout , they used to make a triple cream milk stout but discontinued the beer but sometimes release it as a special release
Glad to see you picked a Behemoth beer that wasn't one of their many many many hazy style beers (although they do them very well) and agree with your choice of milk stouts. The original Cassels is much better. It seems like you had a great time here again. We look forward to seeing you next year
Pro tip. Don’t sell beer cans with dents in them. Super extremely noticeable on camera. (And in person, also it could have been a third party that dented it.) non the less very noticeable and turning the can in could help the brewery in the long run. I know it’s not you TH but your fine camera work picked it up.
Glad to see you try some good NZ beer on the channel instead of the macro and faux-craft so far. Great pick with the Cassels. That is a very well decorated beer. It has won 4 world beer awards in it's class. Which reminds me, I should probably track some down as the weather is very much cooling down
indeed- I mentioned it in another comment but we were working 16 hour days to do what we had to do with media and hop selection. it didn't leave a lot of time for beer searching but we did our best. we have one more tasting video on the way!
Check out Garage Project. So many amazing beers. Enjoy your working holiday Nate. Unfortunately not everyone has David Sakolsky around to influence on mix ferm beers.
Been enjoying Tree House Ivory Cloud for weeks now....maybe your best beer IMO..it stays fresh for a long time...batch on 3-12-24 still tasting like canned yesterday.❤❤❤❤❤
Nate is in love with New Zealand! Treehouse location in the distant future I predict! 🍻
Hope so!
I am definitely in love with New Zealand. Definitely have my hands full at home. 🥹

Gotta have an Eddyline beer surely, brewed right there in Tasman!
After seeing these I want to make the trek over there to try for myself.
everyone should

Let's get a regional beer showdown where you sample a similar style of beer from each region in the US and guess/rank them.
