Is there any possibility you could do a teardown of the vsmile pocket? There appear to be at least 2 different models, the startup is slightly different between the 2.
Did he use a gameboy to more easily show gameplay on the fly? I can't think of any other reason why you would use a gameboy sp to showcase V.Smile game footage, or am i missing something?
It's a GameBoy Advance SP, which is like a normal GameBoy Advance, but you can fold it and it has a backlight so you can see what you're doing. As for the video cables coming out of it, that's an unofficial cartridge with video inputs, never really seen it outside of this video.
@teh_supar_hackr I have 2 GBA SPs, a SpongeBob one and a Pikachu one, some of my favourite games to play on them are Pokémon Emerald, Mario Tennis GBC, Sonic 2 Pack - Advance and Pinball Party, and many others.
@@teh_supar_hackr Idk if there are parts required to do this. I know it requires soldering but I’m guessing no one has come up with parts to do the RGB mod. Do you know the steps (if really any) to RGB mod it?
funny, you can't even see what the ICs are because they're covered up with blobs no way to find datasheets to see if there are pins for RGB, YPbPr or even Y/C(S-Video)

I would but do not own any of the portable V,Smiles as of yet.

This was connect to TV, Not the Game Boy Advance!!!
Less than I expected for 2005. Unless its a later revision.

Smudge tic tac nose?
The OP loos so skinny on their hands. I hope they're doing ok.
It's hard to say with the language barrier, but I'm that skinny irl and am doing fine.
who the fuck says OP on youtube
Is it impossible to get it RGB modded?
It's possible, just no one has done it because the V.Smile is too obscure.
