As a Finn I been watching reactions to Finnish bands. React vids went mad popular and a rare few do these like you do, hope more people find your channel. Easy sub and thank you.

Ukkonen on its own means thunder, but I think there is a little play with words going on here as well, possibly expaining the boy's attire and hair style. The word 'ukko' means basically an old man (with capital U it's also an old male name -- and of course the name of the overseeing god Ukko Ylijumala in the Kalevala mythos). The -nen suffix (that you also see in many common Finnish family names, such as Lehtinen, Virtanen, Holopainen etc.) usually indicates a diminutive meaning, often a smaller and some cases cuter or less serious version of the meaning of the main word. So, besides thunder they might be hinting towards the 'pikku-ukko', the little old man, that the kid seems to be dressed like.

Hello!! Oh yes🤔.... Maj Karma!! I was wondering once to suggest you a song from them but then decided NOT!!...😌... For some reason I have never got into them but they have few good songs!! Mostly heard them from the radio and that is pretty good backround music but to me nothing more😬😬..
I have seen them live once in the early 2000 in a very small "festival" where must have been way less than 500 people in the audience so very small😌 .. This is probably one of the best songs they have and one of those rare I can say I like!! This singer, Herra Ylppö, (mr. Ylppö) has also a band called "Herra Ylppö ja ihmiset" and I actually don't know if they are both still active bacause I haven't follow them at all but there are not SO many year when I have heard a new released new music ..(I think😬).... Actually this ain't so bad music and the singer is great too if you like that kind of sound but that deep voice of him with this kind of rock-music doesn't please me so well but they definetily has their unique sound Which is always worth of thumbs up👍

When i heard this song for the first time from radio i was driving a car and at 3:00 drove a the car to ditch. "no reason to keep using the signal light on."
wans't speeding or drunk there was gravel on the road that sent my car in to a spin. landed on shallow ditch, crashed through a electric fence for cows. wasn't knocked out but it was weird to see a cow next to me

This is from 2006. A great rock band with their own unique sound. Lyrics are great but maybe lose something when translating. Ukkonen means thunder. Other good song is Kyynel.

The chorus part was instrumentally nice, but that sort of flegmatic singing turned to be a turn off for me. In this song anyway. Did not sell this band to me.
