The song "RUN" is a brilliant song by SNOW PATROL..........Leona Lewis did an incredible cover of this song and has performed it many times in her concerts and on TV shows like X Factor in the UK and also in the USA (X Factor USA only lasted 3 seasons) 2011, 2012 and 2013....LEONA LEWIS also performed that in 2011 X Factor USA finale.
Of course Leona's cover and Snow Patrol's is longer than the time given to Glennis to do the song.
Glennis used approximately 2 minutes and 20 seconds to sing the song.......Leona Lewis used approx. 4 minutes and 40 seconds............Imagine what Glennis would do with that song if she was allowed to sing the entire song......My God.............As much as I love Leona Lewis, I think Glennis just took it to another level. I also love Snow Patrol's live performances of this song as well as the studio.
Gary Lightbody of SNOW PATROL congratulated Glennis on this performance saying that she "SMASHED" it.....Well done !!
All I know is that I can't stop listening to GLENNIS singing this song.......Perhaps this can become her signature song.......The world is falling in love with GLENNIS !!!
E.A. de Ruiter I still love Leona's version. I must have listened to her many performances of it in total......well over 50 times or more. I really can't get enough of her. She is tremendous.
I would love to hear Glennis cover the "Full" song rather than a shortened version. I think Glennis showed that she can sing very softly and emotionally pull you in .....in the beginning of "Never Enough" No doubt, Glennis should be up there with the other great singers of today.

I absolutely agree with you about Leona's rendition of "RUN" in comparison to Glennis' rendition.

Interesting is that Leona Lewis also did an incredible rendition of "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face"
I've viewed Trijntje Oosterhuis' video of that song and had it playing for hours and hours. Incredible.

She was good, but listen to one of your favorite singers Lucy Thomas do this song. She was her usual incredible self. For sheer beauty she can't be beat.
