Robert's Story

It’s a familiar story. Robert was prescribed painkillers for a sports injury, and they worked great until his wife moved away with their children because they were “growing up seeing an addicted father.” Then he entered The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center, where he worked with professionals and people like him to overcome his challenges. Today, he’s back with his children and wife, with whom he’s found a renewed “best friendship.”
