Some how I missed the part where you adjusted the pinion mesh? Try lining up the pinion after mounting the motor to the frame then set your gear mesh . As a company rep you should know this.

Tried this on my brand new AMX 12 and strip the bottom screw that goes through the bottom of the chassis into the motor mount. Now I’m screwed.
Same and I have mac tools, have to drill it out along with the screw that holds the 27t gear in😂

Was that Red loctite you were using? No wonder everything is so hard to get apart. Try the blue(removable) loctite please. 😊
After watching this, I find that I really like stock gearing:) Very informative but I wouldn't need higher top speed.
Replacing this gear will make the D12 more stable.So replacement is necessary

How can gearing effect stability? Replacement is not necessary, if so, why did it come stock with the smaller pinion??
@@retrothruster2539I wish they would come out with a set of pinions raging from 15-18 , that way I could gear a little lower and run a 4s thru it.
But ya, I'm lost into how they think it makes it more stable.

What pinion fit for AM D 12 motor? 3.175 or 5mm? And what pitch does it have?
Can you do more upgrades, but restricted to the parts your website says fits this car?
I'm having trouble installing new pinion its too tight going into motor shaft what you suggest?
You didn't put the heat sink back on the motor.
