I like the Nova Bus LFSs more than those generic D40LFs. I've not gotten an opportunity to ride an XE40, though. Very frustrating trying to find one!

The older 2000-2001 Novabus LFS fleet should've been refurbished by CTA, giving them all TwinVision LED signs, LED interiors, and CTA circle logo (some Novabus LFS buses do actually have the CTA circle logo) instead of being replaced with newer versions of LFS

Do you prefer the Nova buses or the New Flyer buses?

JEUMONT FOREVER New Flyers. As much as I get tired of seeing so many of them roaming around Baltimore, they are a bit more maintainable than the NovaBuses -- BUT this is only because I don't have the everyday opportunity to ride Novas. But from visiting other systems with them in their fleet, they deem to be pretty well durable vehicles.
The thing that always differ my likeness for them is that long overhang and how that will affect the chassis over time.

I see. I prefer the Nova's look but prefer the maintenance of the New Flyers.

I'm not from Chicago but from my research, the *Line 3* runs 24/7; alongside the Green Line train through Bronzeville to/from Downtown.
      If this helps
