Then you Enlist to be in the American army in March 1944 and get posted to France in June. If you die the game deletes itself and all the saved data along with it. That’d be true realism.
Great game! I would say other than sound design is I would improve some of the movements and physics. For example, when the tanks shoot a round, there’s no kick or movement front the blast. I would love to see some kick back showing the weight of the blast. Not sure if this is physics or adding animations but it all adds to the immersion. Again, love the work in progress so far!
Needs better weapon mechanics, smoother animations, more dynamic explosion's, spawn needs to be looked at. Over all just make it harder for rushing side to advance. I know closed beta just giving criticism.

They probably have the players animation laggy and clumsy becasue in a milsim like game like this human movement is supposed to more natural. Where games like COD your literally sprinting across the map like your on concrete and the movements are super smooth.

I think what they said was they're going for authentic but not realistic. Meaning the atmosphere of the game will be gritty and all the stuff from ww2 will be there and it'll be locked to what team you're on, but other than that, they're allowing for some leeway on the realism.
They are working also on making squads and it's size more realistic. It's still closed beta though, gakin is going hard with his game but it's still in developing process.

For the uninformed. This game only had eastern front for the first months/year of betas. The fact they added Normandy as a campaign is what led to the surge of interest
Might be a buy for me. As long as movement and gun sounds are fixed. I'd also love an option to turn hud off, since having to confirm kills would make it a lot more interesting to me

Betas generally dont have an impact on how it "looks", except when there are bugs induced that can still be fixed. What we see here is core gameplay and most likely what you will be getting on release.

The movement is still a part that, even though it’s still in CBT, just doesn’t feel right it’s the same clunky mess like in Cuisine Royale. The same goes for the weapon sounds and especially recoil. Other than that it’s definitely better than Medal of Honor.
