The main discussion point of this video is round wood measurement method that is how to measure round wood using formula. In case of round wood that is circled wood the exact measurement is not possible. To estimate the wood in round wood log is important for many occasion. In this video we tried to show two method to find the approximation of wood in case of round wood. One method is involving circumference and another one is involving diameter. Also one chart of wood measurement is given in this video. With the help of that chart anyone can easily measure the wood from wood log without calculation. The formula is square of circumference times length of wood log divide by 2304. The measurement shown in this video is in cubic feet that is cft. If we can estimate the amount of wood from any round wood log that will be very helpful for many occasion. To get the best approximation here we used average circumference (round measurement) of wood log. Some example is given in this video so that learners can easily understand and apply the formula. One table of wood measurement with the method of use is also discussed in this video.We hope learners will enjoy this video.

Why not area of cross section multipled by lenght =volume ( Paixdxd)÷4 x lenght = 3.142/4xdiaxdiax Lenght). If any allowance towards wastage is allowed, please clearly explain how 2304 constant is obtained.

To find the wood measurement in cft. we need to consider the wood log as a rectangular base not circular base and 2304 is for better approximation.
