Hiya, did you put anything in your fondant as i left my rainbow to dry for 4 days and it still could not stand up, it all came apart aftet applying water between each layer of colour too.i had to lay it flat on cake to keep it from separating.
Hi Shona sorry to hear that! You need plenty of water between each layer and have you thought of leaving it to dry on a sponge so air can get at the underside? You can add some tylose to your fondant too to make it stronger, hope this helps! Amanda
When I made a stand-up rainbow topper, I ran spaghetti sticks through it at intervals. Also, you can let it dry face up then flip it over on a very smooth surface (it will pick up texture or flatten the top of your rolls if not careful.)

Add some gum-tex, tylose, or cmc powder. It will firm it up very quickly
