- A 24-year-old man is in custody after allegedly throwing a 5-year-old boy off the third floor balcony at the Mall of American in Bloomington, Minnesota Friday. He fled the scene and was arrested while waiting for the light rail train.
THIS IS A HATE CRIME!
I have been praying for this child. Please keep us informed as many of us really feel for this boy and his entire family.
This guy was only sentenced to 19 years. What is wrong with our justice system? People who get caught with drugs get longer sentences than this guy.
I know this was 3 years ago but 19 years is a loooooooong time in prison. why do you think 19 years is equivalent to 1 day?

I know two wrongs don't make a right but about every ounce of me wants to put my hands on that guy I just continue to pray for the boy and for his family and I hope that everything will work out and that Justice is served but believe me when I say I know exactly how you feel. And I was just planning on going up there from Chicagoland and I have a 5 year old son. To think that this can happen to anyone anywhere is a scary thought.

I'm also able to say with confidence that I would then proceed to where my child was and depending on how bad her injuries looked I would then proceed to dribble his head off the floor like a basketball until police tazed me off of him. i remember this. i was in minnesota for a competition and we were at the mall about 20 minutes after it happened. we are pretty sure we saw the ambulance he was being transported in. it was such a ruse they blocked off all floors in that area immediately, and if you looked closely enough on the bottom floor, you would see the blood. it was so heartbreaking and it was a hard day. there was so much law enforcement and you just knew something was so wrong
