Great to see Luke on the stage. Years ago, when he was about 8 he used to go to all the FD concerts with his mum, dad and a guitar and astound the people in the bar by playing all FD's solos 😮 Great stuff.
So on April 2nd 1990 my self and few friends set off for Guilford to see our fav band It bites. We were as excited as could be. Little did we know in a boiling hot civic hall we would see the band at there peak and brilliant best. The heat was unbearable but added to the furious and awesome musicians on stage. We sang and bounced around to this incredible show. Fast forward to KKs steelmill 2023 and we see Francis dunnery's It bites blow us away once again. If I'd closed my eyes it was 1990 all over again. I've been lucky enough to witness some unbelievable shows in my many years of going to gigs but this was very special. Francis and the band were phenomenal. Nostalgia is a wonderful thing. " Thank you and goodnight " No Francis " Thank you!!!!

Yeah, I get that, but Francis is 60 years old. The fact that he's up there on the stage, playing like that and frankly singing the best he ever has, is amazing to see. I don't begrudge him having a bit of help 😊 I just wish Luke would develop his own stagecraft and not copy all of Francis" mannerisms and movements.
The studio albums had a bunch of overdubs so it was the first time that Frank asked me to bring this to life live with this incarnation, it won't happen again.
What the hell are you talking about!!! Doesn't work?? Do you really think he should be doing double lead parts alone? Or just strip them down to suit your own nostalgic view of how the band should sound? Be glad this amazing new versions exist!!!
