This by far is the easiest to follow tutorial I have seen so far and I have logged in a lot of hours watching videos of tutorials of ppl making travelers notebook covers! Seriously when I saw how much they cost already made I thought it can't be that hard to make? I will just make one myself! But then the tutorials were SO complicated! But not this one!!! FYI anyone in the US or anywhere else that uses inches instead of mm I looked up the conversion and it's 263mm= 10.3" &222mm= 8 3/4" 8mm= 5/16" 131mm= 5.2" hope that helps guys!!! Good luck!!! I am about to go knock out some traveler's notebooks for gifts!!! Yay!!! Thank you
Hi there! I was so pleased to read this! I try to simplify and keep my videos as succinct as possible - that's where my idea of making Coffee Break Tutorials came from - it it takes longer than a cosy sit-down with a cuppa - it's too long! Glad you enjoyed this and I hope you make loads of them (great gifts too) :) xx
I bought such a Screw Puncher for little money and it works great. I wonder, why I did not hear of this simple but helpful little thing before. Thank you for the tip and warm greetings from Germany.
In case you are watching this late as I am, the Kraftex and Japanese screw hole punch can be found on Amazon (US). The punch comes with 6 extra tips and is $9.99. The Kraftex comes in a roll of unwashed fabric paper (19” C 1.5 yds $14.95) or it comes as Deb shows (18.5 X 28.5” $19.95). I double checked the measurements vs. price and it seems like the unwashed is a better deal. It comes in a multitude of colors and the projects you can use it for are endless! And I’m sure you know Mod Podge can be found anywhere. Great video. Really appreciate learning about the different ways I can make a Junk Journal. Btw...you don’t have to go to Amazon for the paper clips Deb so beautifully decorates. Dollar Tree has a pack of I don’t know how many for (what else?) a dollar. I hope some time she will do a video on the lettering she uses. I love the style but craft handicapped-including lettering!
Fantastic! Thankyou for so simply and clearly showing how to do this. That Kraft-Tex looks incredible stuff! This is a video I'll be keeping on my re-watch list!!
love this ,I will be trying to make it I would just like to thank you for sharing your knowledge, you give very clear consise instructions which are very easy to follow. The name of the knot you make is a reef knot a knot I was taught when I was in the girl guides many years ago 61 to be precise
Deborah, you are so very very clear and precise with your instructions. I really really love 💖 this video because, you’ve made it so easy to follow. Thank you so much xxx Mags
Thanks for this Deb, I am inspired to attempt a travellers notebook style now, which I have not been brave enough until you simplified the process for me with your wonderful tutorial!
I’ve never worked with Kraftex before 🤷♀️. I really need to find some 😊! What a fun way to use up pretty papers 💗🤗! Thank you for sharing, take care and have fun💗🤗!
Hi Setal - it's 1 part glycerine to 4 or 5 parts water (it's an inexact science!). Use a light spray for paper and several sprays for heavy cardstock. Allow the mix time to penetrate the heavy card. When you can rumple it and squash it up without ripping it, you're done :) xx
Is matte mod podge sticky after it dries? I know the glossy stuff is. I've had quite a few things I've made later get ruined because they stuck to something 😢
Hi - I've not had that problem, either when newly podged (is that a word?) or after a couple of years. But how frustrating for you to have that issue, I'm only sorry I can't offer any advise.
Yes, but... those are traveller's notebook inserts, not bullet journals. You can bullet journal in anything but most people use a hardcover notebook with a dot grid paper.

Hi Paula! Thank you and yes I did. I couldn't bear not to use the left over bits! :) xx
Wow
I love it ❤❤❤❤🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
This is great! Thanks for posting it. I do have one question: Have you experienced any stickiness with the Mod Podge after it has dried?
Hi Sandra! No, it's never been a problem and I use a LOT of Mod Podge :) xx
This is fabulous, do you have to use the glycerine..will definitely have a go.
Hi Karen! You can skip the glycerine if you are using a light paper but for a heavier card stock, I think it is worthwhile :) xx
Super
Could you go over the glycerin mix again please?
Hi Setal - it's 1 part glycerine to 4 or 5 parts water (it's an inexact science!). Use a light spray for paper and several sprays for heavy cardstock. Allow the mix time to penetrate the heavy card. When you can rumple it and squash it up without ripping it, you're done :) xx
@@AtticLane Thank you! :) xx
Que letra linda!
It's called a square knot.
and used in sailing
Is matte mod podge sticky after it dries? I know the glossy stuff is. I've had quite a few things I've made later get ruined because they stuck to something 😢
Hi - I've not had that problem, either when newly podged (is that a word?) or after a couple of years. But how frustrating for you to have that issue, I'm only sorry I can't offer any advise.
I can tell you a trick: With a lighter, seal the ends of the elastics, so they do not fry!
Hi there! I may try this - thank you :) xx
perfect! :-)
It's called a surgeons knot.
I know it as a square knot.
FYI...your knot is called a square knot. :-)
BD Walters it’s a reef knot
Square Knot.
Yes, but... those are traveller's notebook inserts, not bullet journals. You can bullet journal in anything but most people use a hardcover notebook with a dot grid paper.
there are as many people using dot grid as not. Watch youtube videos and you'll find great diversity in bullet journal preference.
Ok bye im broke
