@soonerstatefirephotography Were you at that fire just West of Mannford today? Lots of good footage there. Unfortunately, it looked like the crews were stretched pretty thin ☹️
Yes, so my Chief told me to hang back on this one, so i got some good footage from my camera, after i made sure it wasn't gonna take out my house. We were stretched extremely thin indeed, we lost a couple houses. Our mutual aid kept having to leave to fight fires in their own districts.
@soonerstatefirephotography Yeah, Keystone had a fire by my house, so I didn't see any at the Silver City fire. Unfortunately, I do believe one of the Keystone firefighters was injured. I had a hoe with me when I came to film the fire. I put out a small fire that was spreading towards some structures, though. These fires really suck, it seems like the flames constantly get relit by the embers.
Well, nice job glad you could help, KVFD had 2 or 3 trucks in Silver City, but they got called out to go to your fire. My best friend lives on Coyote, she said it was somewhat close to her house. Hope you got some good pics, and yeah hope that firefighter aint to badly hurt. The FF with me in this video had to take an ambulance break, her and some others were severely heat exhausted. SCVFD, MVFD, and FHVFD have been on this since Thursday.
