Great video " just imagine if the Corvair would have kept developing like the Porsche where it would be now . My dad had a 67 Corvair red convertible when I was a kid along with a 66 VW Bus . Great memories and lots of fun .
By collecting these vintage pictures of Corvairs you have also documented the look and feel of American life in the mid-sixties. We will never see that country again. The photo of the boy at 5:27 is especially haunting.
Great stuff as always. Some of the street scenes from Anytown, U.S.A. really give these videos a sense of "you are there". But I especially liked the shot of Donna Mae's pink Stinger @ 3:40.
Plenty of room in that front trunk for cases of Pabst Blue Ribbon. What memories! My late husband would fill er up and crack open a few on the way home. then the cops started getting heat from them MADD folks and started arresting him for being liquored up while drivin.
"Ahhh yes those were the days"..Guys driving around. SLOSHED..Drunk shitfaced. Any ideas on how many innocent people lost their lives from a driver who was,"Making memories"? I'm 70 and loved the 50s,60s&70s but I'm glad they cracked down on drunks driving and killing others. I should been arrested MANY TIMES!.
At age 68 i am loving the music memories
