I already opened a Kucoin acct and sent some usdt ($10 worth) to it from Coinbase but when I tried to exchange for xrp, I wasn’t able to (not sure why). I want to send more usdt but want to make sure that Kucoin will allow me to trade for XRP. Should I use a VPN and can I still use a VPN if I already opened this account? Hi, you do not need a VPN to use Kucoin in the USA. It is allowed in the States. Not sure why your USDT to XRP swap did not work. You can also try purchasing some USDT directly within Kucoin with a credit card.
Thanks for your reply Jo! I haven’t completed the 2 factor authentication so maybe that’s why? I guess I’m a bit confused because I thought that xrp was banned in the USA and therefore if Kucoin knows that Im from there, they won’t allow me to buy it. @@cbdone3277 XRP is definitely not banned from the USA. You can also purchase from Uphold also if you’d like. Once the Ripple lawsuit settles, the XRP price action could really explode 🚀
how do I know if my crypto is on my device? I see it on Ledger Live after my transfer....but how do I know my device has it stored?...Does this mean because it's on Ledger Live, it's secured on my device? How do I know?...TY
Hardware wallets serve as a ‘master key’ to your coins; they are never stored on your device. They live on the blockchain. So if you lose your device, you can still unlock your coins by buying a new device. The importing thing is store your seed phrase safely so can retrieve your coins.
Question, after I sent the XRP to my ledger for the first time, I now have a new account with XLM. So I received the XRP and XLM. I got the correct amount of XRP but received a few dollars in XLM in its own account on my ledger that I never made? That normal? Thanks!!
This is not normal. No idea how/why you received extra XLM. Are you sure you didnt create a Stellar XLM account previously? XLM and XRP are completely different blockchains with different addresses.
@@investwithjo Yeah very strange, and when I went on the XLM account it says it was received on 11/10…2 transactions, 2 minutes apart, equaling exactly 40 XLM. I mean maybeeeee I made a stellar account but I’m 99% sure I didn’t.

Great video! Quick question: I received my XRP on 04Dec2022, but within an hour later, it shows that the XRP got "sent." What does this mean?
By mobile, I have an error from withdrawal. Stating that error withdrawal address. But my address is coming from ledger live by mobile

Those are the only trading pairs available on Kucoin. USDT is very liquid

Why the extra step? Can't you just buy USDT or USDC directly and swap it for XRP?
Yes you can purchase with a credit card directly (extra fees involved). Swapping for other coins like XLM or USDT is cheaper 🚀
