Great idea and I don't live in Detroit.
Generous subscribers, you are part of this work. I have not seen the magnitude of support for any RUclips channel. God supplies the need not only in supplies but places to work on. I still love the idea to clean up properties for moms and children.
Sean, your neighborhood has so many needs. And look at how much your channel has grown!
Your interaction with your viewers is priceless. You bring us all in to what you are doing. Simply irresistible!!

Actually, I was going to suggest that some of us subscribers take the initiative to write to the city of Detroit praising the work Sean is doing and the fact that he is just such a nice guy. And they should feel proud to have such an honorable and caring citizen. BUT, now someone says it’s not Detroit, but Pontiac, MI so now I don’t know where to write.

Here's a story for you, which I heard over 40 years ago:
This a story about 4 people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Anybody could have done it ,but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
Thank you, Sean, for doing what Nobody did!

The Little Red Hen wanted to go fishing but had no boat.
"Who will help me?" she asked.
"Not I" said the duck. "Not I" said the fox. "Not I" said the pig.
So the Little Red Hen worked and worked and worked to build her boat, and she finally finished.
She took the boat to the shore, pushed it, and hopped in, ready to go fishing after all that hard work!
"You're so selfish" said the duck. "Why didn't you ask me to go with you?"
"You're a bad neighbor" said the fox. "I would be glad to fish with you, but you didn't ask me."
"You are such a bad person" said the pig. "I think you should have taken at least one of us out fishing with you."
It's universal: nobody wants to do nuffin'.

Getting second-hand anger on behalf of this community that the city couldn't take care of their streets. Instead let it become an unsafe space where rubbish and glass bottles (or worse) are strewn about. Just wondering, what about this community? it's their back yard, why aren't they doing anything? I watched a few videos in this awesome channel and never once did I see anyone stopping by and offering some help, maybe once someone offered a glass of water.
Update: I just saw in this video a few people offering some water and food, but someone could for example help with picking up these bottles, or anything else to assist.
I hope some people do offer help and Shawn simply prefers to do these things on his own.

I cleaned up the litter in there and found 50lbs of glass bottles, mostly vodka bottles in the bushes! I think that guy was right. People who don't want to be caught drinking stash the bottles in bushes rather than throwing them out or recycling them at home. It's a sad indicator that there are people in the area with an alcohol problem.
