Great idea and I don't live in Detroit. Generous subscribers, you are part of this work. I have not seen the magnitude of support for any RUclips channel. God supplies the need not only in supplies but places to work on. I still love the idea to clean up properties for moms and children. Sean, your neighborhood has so many needs. It is so rewarding when someone just says "thank you". If you can put a smile on someone for just a minute, it is worth it. You are so loved by these people.
The work you do for your community deserves an award! Everything you do is so thorough, meticulous and the results are spectacular. Now people have a safe place to walk and the road has drainage! The only ones who are gonna be ticked off are the idjits who've been using it as a bar/bottle dump! Great work as always.
One thing that definitely makes a huge difference in your videos MS, is the very fact that so many pundits say how AWFUL race relations are in this country. You prove them wrong. I see great gratitude from all people for what you are doing, and it does not matter what race they are. THAT is more than commendable, it is a blessing. Keep it up man, you are a credit to the word blessings!
Seriously, and it's Detroit, where everybody is everybody, black, white, asian, hispanic, whatever ethnicity, all living in the City trying to make it work.
If you want to do something…take the initiative to find out who is responsible for these highways and byways and then urge them to do the job so Sean doesn’t have to. It’s a big city with good people who are willing to help.😅
It's nice to see you have an extended family in that neighborhood. I think people in England are telling Jack that he looks like Midlife Stockman. Keep up the good work and quoting Devo, "Whip it, whip it good"

What I enjoy more is that you stop your work even when you are tired to listen to people and even accept handshakes and hugs. Shows you are people-oriented and not task-oriented. May you keep finding God's blessing overflow.
2 things that ticks me off. 1. the town/city are responsible for these sidewalks and 2. i hate litterbugs, like wow really people. i feel that the town/city you live in/clean up should do some type of donations fund to help you out. i love watching you all the time. i am just glad people like you want to do this tedious job. God Bless You
In California it is up to the owner of the lot to maintain the land, the sidewalk, and the nature strip (strip of grass between the sidewalk and curb). The power company can even impose a fine for letting your vegetation grow into the power lines. I don't know what the rules are in Michigan.
The bottles are ridiculous! In my neighborhood, there's a little walkway that connects two housing developments. I cleaned up the litter in there and found 50lbs of glass bottles, mostly vodka bottles in the bushes! I think that guy was right. People who don't want to be caught drinking stash the bottles in bushes rather than throwing them out or recycling them at home. It's a sad indicator that there are people in the area with an alcohol problem.
When I was growing up, they actually had commercials about litter. Maybe they need to bring those back or teach kids how to not litter in the first grade. Nobody should be throwing things out their window or on a sidewalk. They can wait till they get home to toss it in the cart
I kind of hope that all who wanted to offer thanks, water etc might perhaps meet up with each other, now they see the video, and make a rota to keep the bottles picked up, at least. As others have said, a sad telltale thatmost of them seem to be the same small bottles of vodka - some local shop must be making a killing, surely? Perhaps having a nicer neighbourhood feel will encourage everyine to make some changes

As someone with mobility issues who uses a rollator (walker) to get around, a clear, unbroken sidewalk is a beautiful thing. I know you got a lot of love from this community already but this work you do is so very appreciated.
Wow another huge overgrowth. Good job. What gets me is that all these people stop with lots of well earned praises. But did anyone think to make a neighborhood cleanup instead wait for a free cleanup. Neighborhoods always do this---it's nuts.
These people pay taxes to the city for this stuff. Apparently, they are paying taxes for nothing! And did you see how dangerous the overhanging tree is on the power lines? People are paying for this too on top of their electricity cost. You expect them to do that too? Where are the electric company as well as the city?
Hello, from Trinity, North Carolina. You make it look so easy, but I know from experience that it's anything but easy! At 78, hubby and I are still keeping up our acre lot with many trees, flower beds, and weeds. It can get overwhelming, especially when it's so hot. And when we get behind, it's tough getting caught back up. But, so far, we're still doing the best we can. Keep up the good work!
i learn watching many of his videos and others like him, there are reason why there is such overgrowth. either no one lives in that area or past away or the person is dealing with some health issues, however, this doesn't give the town/city and excuse not to take care of the sidewalk area
So glad to see the kind and sweet people stopped by and appreciate your hard work! Some even offered drinks and meals, what a nice town! 😊 BTW I love the slow-mo of the whip! Hoo haa!!! Keep safe and healthy always! (Watching at midnight from the comfort of my home half the globe away in Indonesia)
My friend, you're getting attention all over the internet, and even in other states by your fellow lawncare workers and companies. Sounds like a blowup to me. Your work is always the highest quality.
I cannot believe that the city allows for these properties to get so overgrown on the power lines. Thank you for your great work! It’s very satisfying to watch you clean these properties up!
not sure which city but Detroit can't afford to clear snow on the residential streets in the winter. it is difficult to inspect all the streets much less take care for absent owners
Several people from the community were great today. I hope the city will recognize you Sean. You over deserve it! You are doing what they are neglecting! They at least could put a trash an there & empty it! Your a wonderful, caring person, bless you from Sacramento, California ❤❤❤❤🙏🤗
Every time you say "lets break through this" I hear Break on Through (to the other side) by The Doors. This was another outstanding job, well done Sean. So happy seeing the community coming by and saying thank you. I hope you realize, this channel is going to get a whole lot bigger and it's well deserved.
Nah it would be really nice to see the community get together and clean it up and bond as neighbors. Especially the guy who has been living there for 20 years.
Right. Most of them have a few crews that do just that. Why they're letting that one go, I don't understand. A little prevention would be better than having to send out a crew for restoring power.
It's tough to tell but I think most of that is in the communication lines and not in the power. The power company probably trimmed it back away from the power.
This is false, I used to be a foreman for one. The power company only owns 2ft around each pole. Me and my crew had the luxury of getting tore up by poison ivy and bees getting to them where we could dig 2-3 feet down to make sure they weren't rotting. Best part is they have a minimum amount of poles you have to check daily if you don't want to be fired. Detroit never hired us but Memphis did...I never want to go back

Someone should reward this self-sacrificing gentleman for making a neighborhood safer for the residents, especially the children. They should organize a neighborhood watch committee to keep it looking as great as Sean left it.
My grandmother told me about people like you…..she called them Angels Unaware! Thank you for your kindness 💕
Sean, you always do a great job…with a smile on your face! It’s amazing how many people stop to thank you for caring. Pretty soon you are going to have to bring a table so that you will have a place to meet and greet and sign your autograph! But seriously, you are a blessing and I pray God will be with you always. Love, love, love your videos.
Everybody coming up to thank him for his work is how normal neighbors should act, not like other videos where some Karen calls the cops because “he’s in my neighborhood “.
So happy for Mondays to watch Midlife Stockman!! OMG, that is a beast of overgrowth and neglect wow!!!
Me too
I love your channel. I've been watching lawn care transformations for a couple years but now when I watch them I find myself holding them up to the Midlife Stockman standard. You do such beautiful work. You take care of everything, it's satisfying to watch. I've got my 90 year old Mom loving it too :) stay safe and keep doing all wonderful things you do! You're a blessing to your community.
Thanks for such a nice comment!
I have been watching your channel and out of all transformation the others do... Your's is the best. You take so much pride in what you do for your community. I cannot wait to see next weeks transformation. God bless and take care. 🙏🙏😊😊
“Okay, I’m real tired…” continues to work for what I can only guess would at least another 1.5 hours
You can tell by the length of the shadows how late in the day it is and he said it 90 degrees---always smiling at the end!
To quote Jim Morrison, “break on through to the other side!”😊 Another job well done Sean!! Thank you for caring!🫶🏽😊
That was so lovely her showing the love and appreciation of the community. Gave me a lump in my throat..💖
Yes sir..u r so deserving🎉
Hi i would like to suggest using a rake for aĺl the branches and glass so it wont hurt your back too,to save time.a bit, all in all good job, wish i could ask help from you too.
You're so right. I've never been treated better. I love my community!
😊😊😊😊@@kathyleicester7306

Why wouldn’t the city take care of this mess. This special man should be paid for his hard work!!!!! City should be embarrassed.
Do you know how many abandoned homes are on the waiting list to be torn down?
No bc it's not THEIR neighborhood
That is the reason the cities do not do any public works, they do not pay enough taxes, Californians do so we demand the work get done
@@DebbieCostello-k8p the power co. would get the tree limbs out of their lines too here in CA.
I am pretty sure they did not know, it needs neighbours to report this but obviously nobody cared so far..
It's nice to see you have an extended family in that neighborhood. I think people in England are telling Jack that he looks like Midlife Stockman. Keep up the good work and quoting Devo, "Whip it, whip it good"
Jack should be honored! 😅
I don't think people realize how much effort it takes to work over your head with your arms. You have some great stamina and strength to do this work. Thank you for being a good steward of this Earth God put us on💪🙏
Yes Sabrina...I call him an "Earth Angel" and they are needed now, more than ever !!😇
Amen 🙏🇺🇸
especially considering it's 90 degrees out with Michigan humidity (32.2 Celsius with 80% humidity)
Aren't those overgrown areas the responsibility of the city?
It does show there are still good people out in the world in every neighborhood.
I wondered the same as you
How you don't have a million subs yet is beyond me. You are a true neighbor that Jesus talks about.
Keep telling people about it, his subscribers have really grown in the past little bit. Let's push him over 2 million!
@@kathyleicester7306 I think maybe millions of people think subscribe means you have to pay. That should be cleared up somehow. He has 9.5 million views on the one where the guy called the sops on him. If only 10% of them hit subscribe he would be over a million.
He's getting there. He's been growing really fast. The other guys have been doing this for while. Sean will hit his mill in a few short months. 😊
29:38 I'm crying. Such a beautiful community; grateful for the work you do. Melts my heart!!!
Your a goodman that's why everyone stops and talks to you. and did a great job!!
For those people to take the time to stop and say thank you is huge! A thank you goes along way. Keep doing what you're doing, it doesn't go unnoticed! Great work!❤
Of all the lawn mowing RUclips channels that I have looked, you are the number one that does everything and leave. Nothing behind. You do all cleanups all cut ups and all fix ups. Great job.SEAN I like the job did you do I love you channel? I don’t miss not one of them. I’m up-to-date. I anticipate the next one to come. God bless your heart.
I agree, glad I found this channel, was tired of people leaving a thck blanket of lawn clippings behind. If you havent seen them, check out TK Lawns and M&D Lawn Care, they do great work and clean up as they go along.
Yes I agree, quick cuts and flawless cleaning and blessing boys are also do all the above
Agree.
@TLoumena another nice guy doing gardening is Josh's lawn services. He always tidies up
@@marindapretorius4515there’s a fellow in Australia called BladeMates. He works with their social services and helps out seniors and disabled veterans who can’t do their own yards. He weed whips, picks up trash etc.
You also saved the community from power outages in the winter with that much growth on the power lines. You went above and beyond!!
And flooding by cleaning out the gutters. Amazing amount of work!
Yay Stockman Day! ❤🎉
Someone is getting very creative editing these videos. Great transitions, slo-mo, and drone footage. I loved transitioning between street and drone. Seeing the residents stop to thank you shows their appreciation for your hard work.
Thanks for noticing. I spend a lot of time editing.
I noticed all the small details as well, great job. Just subscribed 😊
Ditto! Love the different angles and effects. But I am wondering, how do you drive the drone, if you are alone, while you are working? Great job Sean! It is wonderful that the neighbors appreciate your work.
I love the way you say it is an honor. You can’t fake that kind of love and people really feel it. You are beautifying the neighborhood but it is so much more. ❤
I wish that our society awarded medals for outstanding performances in their particular field of service because if we did you would have gotten 2 gold medals for these last 2 overgrown areas for sure!! Bravo!!
It's Monday!!!!Yeah!!!!Watching from Florida where we are going through a bad tropical storm in central Florida and northern Florida is experiencing a Cat 1 hurricane I am blessed to be inland and blessed to be watching Midlife Stockman. Have a great day everyone!!!🙏
Glad you’re in a safe place.
Stay safe🙏
Hi from Ocala....big storm. Lots of wind and rain. Tornado watch for most of the state.
I still have power.....gotta watch my favorite lawn show. You've come a long way Sean with equipment, skills, and more involved sites to work on. Remember you first one?
I’m in Sarasota storm went through here late last night early morning.. still raining.
Has anyone noticed- we do not have a representative government… taxation without representation… read our founding documents for more.. good job Sean as always! Keep on rockin’ on! God bless you and your family 🙏
You are a blessing to the community and to the people God bless you and watch over your family
Do the people that stop by ever volunteer to help you or do you prefer to work alone? You are my super hero. ❤
Thanks so much for being a great asset to your community. We can tell those bottles have been buried for a long time. Very nice to see you are appreciated. Blessings from Central Tx.
I really like the huge community appreciation and, of course, those hugs were truly special❤️
I think what sets him apart is his voice, how he interacts, he's very handsome and looks very educated to be doing this. The others just don't have what he does.
The others don't use what they have in this skilled way, that's for sure.
You are such a blessing to everyone in your community. Thanks for all you do. I look forward to your videos every week!
Thank you for such kind words!!
@@MidlifeStockmanI love watching your lawn care videos on your RUclips channel
@@MidlifeStockman 🙏
I enjoy hearing your commentary and hearing the people that come over to thank you.
God Bless You
Let alone the power company for not trimming the growth into and on the power lines
In California it is up to the owner of the lot to maintain the land, the sidewalk, and the nature strip (strip of grass between the sidewalk and curb). The power company can even impose a fine for letting your vegetation grow into the power lines. I don't know what the rules are in Michigan.
@@loretaylor1866same in Illinois , I maintain the sidewalk .
@@loretaylor1866 Washington state also.
Sean u need a protective vest for that job! Smh!
It's a sad indicator that there are people in the area with an alcohol problem.
i agree, but there are no trashcans around either! How about some infrastructure, too?
As far as I can tell Michigan still has bottle deposit laws. There's probably some decent change to be made turning those bottles back in.
@@Benanov yep, 10 cents per bottle.
🎉❤🎉❤ dude you're awesome! Praying for you to continue to get blessings & celebrations. Thank you frim Texas.🎉🎉🎉
OMG !! This has been such an emotional and beautiful day for you and us !! To see the community stop to tell you how appreciative they are of your work it was touching and rewarding…your hard work it’s recognized not only by us following you but by a community that appreciates and recognizes your dedication !! The sidewalks always gets me as it is the safety of everyone…children, disabled, elderly !!
Thank you for your hard work, dedication, attention to details and commitment to improving the neighborhood, one by one !!
When you said "let's whip it" ..... the "Whip It" song came to mind (might be before you time...lol) - here's the refrain.......
Now whip it
Into shape
Shape it up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it
It's not too late
To whip it
Whip it good
Sean, you are so amazing & so loved....
God Bless You 🙏 ❤
Hahaha… love that song. Good one 😊
I hear this every time he says it, too!!! Makes me giggle.

It is so true with that lady said they gave him a lot of hugs.“SEAN” you’re such an incredible man very special and it’s beautiful to see a lot of people coming and give you kiss and hugs and appreciation of what you do. It makes everybody else like me and your subscriber is so proud of you for doing a great job and going on and beyond, God bless you and God bless your soul. God bless your family.
You are an inspiration and a bright, beautiful light in this world. I am grateful for you. ❤️❤️
Your family and all who support you deserve accolades. helping without asking for a return is actually getting the biggest return that money will never buy.. Respect.🤩
Did you ever in your wildest dreams think from that first yard you recorded would make you a RUclips yard hero and be so recognized?!! I've been watching each and every video and so extremely proud of who you are and your fortitude getting these sorry places looking like you do. The world needs more giving, caring people like you in it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making these eyesores into smiling places once again. Giving you the BEST YARDMAN OLYMPIC MEDAL this year. You certainly deserve it!! 😅 👍🤗😇🥰
Making Detroit Beautiful...one sidewalk at a time. Cleaning these up has a huge impact on the neighborhood. Community pride, walkability, safety, you've given all that back on top of all your hard work.
It’s Pontiac, MI, not Detroit.
One person can make a difference. Sean is a living example of this. Much love and respect.
Once again you have shown tremendous work ethic. It’s so nice to see the genuine support and appreciation from the community. Excellent work Sean 👏🏻👏🏻
When you are dancing with that shovel work, it makes me think of my hubby when he was young and a phenomenal worker like you. He is 81 now with some health problems that have slowed him down, Glad to see you using the gloves for safety and the gator to protect your lungs. I watch you every week. God bless. ❤
One of your best transformations. So wonderful to see the neighborhood so appreciative. I hope someone takes the bull by the horns and maintains it. That would show true pride in their community. Great work here. God bless you for your kindness and generosity.
Sean, you’re like the energizer bunny, my friend. You just keep going and going and going.😂 the community showing you love is really special. Very nice change God bless and take care of yourself.❤️🙏😎
Whatever community it is that you’re in they’re very lucky to have you! Great job!
“All it takes is one person…”
Thank you, for being that person for this community.
Best thing about my Mondays are these videos!!
Hopefully your work will encourage all of the neighbors to work to keep their neighborhood like this.
As someone with mobility issues who uses a rollator (walker) to get around, a clear, unbroken sidewalk is a beautiful thing. I know you got a lot of love from this community already but this work you do is so very appreciated.
I don't know what to say, but you are a hero my friend. The world deserve more people like you.
It also takes the right equipment to do the job. Most folks don't have that. Thank you MS for all you do.
Somebody owns that property how can they get away with so much neglect. You do more than show love for your community you show love for all humanity
i learn watching many of his videos and others like him, there are reason why there is such overgrowth. either no one lives in that area or past away or the person is dealing with some health issues, however, this doesn't give the town/city and excuse not to take care of the sidewalk area
Midlife stockman a super lawn hero❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad to see the kind and sweet people stopped by and appreciate your hard work! Some even offered drinks and meals, what a nice town! 😊 BTW I love the slow-mo of the whip! Hoo haa!!! Keep safe and healthy always! (Watching at midnight from the comfort of my home half the globe away in Indonesia)
It's so wonderful to see how the community stops by to show their love and support for all the work you do!! ❤️
My friend, you're getting attention all over the internet, and even in other states by your fellow lawncare workers and companies. Sounds like a blowup to me. Your work is always the highest quality.
So glad how appreciative the community is 🙏
I cannot believe that the city allows for these properties to get so overgrown on the power lines.
Thank you for your great work!
It’s very satisfying to watch you clean these properties up!
not sure which city but Detroit can't afford to clear snow on the residential streets in the winter. it is difficult to inspect all the streets much less take care for absent owners
Thank you from all the good people who live in Michigan. We appreciate all that your doing. Great job from Sturgis Michigan
Ditto, from another Sturgis resident.
Excellent work every time!
It’s all in your attitude that makes your personality so attractive. Even when you are dead tired you keep a positive and thankful attitude.
Several people from the community were great today. I hope the city will recognize you Sean. You over deserve it! You are doing what they are neglecting! They at least could put a trash an there & empty it!
Your a wonderful, caring person, bless you from Sacramento, California ❤❤❤❤🙏🤗
Damn that was a lot of work! So nice that so many people stopped to appreciate what you were doing.
Every time you say "lets break through this" I hear Break on Through (to the other side) by The Doors. This was another outstanding job, well done Sean. So happy seeing the community coming by and saying thank you. I hope you realize, this channel is going to get a whole lot bigger and it's well deserved.
I'm getting teary eyed seeing how much your work is appreciated by the community. ❤️

Nah it would be really nice to see the community get together and clean it up and bond as neighbors. Especially the guy who has been living there for 20 years.
@@Phil-964okay, and help Sean... geeze 🙄
It'd be even better if the community is at least some home owners or renters would stop and help him.
I pray the neighbors who live close to his "accomplishments" maintain those finished projects.
The love from the neighborhood is real! 🇨🇦❤️
YOU ARE A BLESSING ,GOD BLESS YOU.
Its the power companies responsibility to take care of power lines!!!
Right. Most of them have a few crews that do just that. Why they're letting that one go, I don't understand. A little prevention would be better than having to send out a crew for restoring power.
This may be a municipal power company owned by the city and no one has reported it
It's tough to tell but I think most of that is in the communication lines and not in the power.
Detroit never hired us but Memphis did...I never want to go back
@@brandonweeks ... I've sure seen them out there doing it before, at least in my area. Maybe they contracted the work out though.
