How does she stop singing at 3:43 but I keep hearing her singing until 3:57? I get overtones and whatnot but... it sounds to me there's still a female voice in there. Just not as loud.
I hear what you're hearing but it's really soft compared to her. If it indeed is a backing vocal track it would make no sense as Moriah clearly sang all Ann's parts and is more than capable of doing them well as we hear in this vid. She even goes beyond what Ann did. She's an amazing singer. I'd like to believe it's just lingering overtones but who knows? Either way, if you've heard Moriah in her band, Plush, you can have faith that she does all her own singing live so it doesn't bother me even if they have Ann really soft in the background for that ending part (which, again, I think just wouldn't make sense as the end doesn't need fattening up vocally live).
